I did my GBH thing on my jeans freehand, it was too simple to justify stencilling.
|
mine is going to be a more complicated back patch.
|
fair, I just wrote 'GBH' in the right typeface.
|
so,
its cold as **** at my school, and im not paying $60 for a school sweatshirt that ill only wear at school. i traced my friends soccer sweater and bought a plain grey sweater for $6 and stenciled it up. heres what my friends looks like (the real one): http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d172/pointless5448/IMG_0554.jpg heres what the one i made looks like: front: http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d172/pointless5448/IMG_0556.jpg back(i had to throw my tag on it somewhere): http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d172/pointless5448/IMG_0557.jpg so for homecoming week at school i made a flag for seniors and it was the first time that i ever did anything white on black. the picture is from my phone which is why it looks double. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d172/pointless5448/1001061602.jpg and today i did the llama king shirt which was my first white on black shirt. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d172/pointless5448/IMG_0555.jpg i used a tremendous wool roller which is why i think it didnt come out that well but i got a small foam roller today. tomorow ill be testing it out with this stencil: http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d172/pointless5448/IMG_0559.jpg damn this was a long post. |
I dub you DIY King.
|
i think youll have to ask the queen about that first.
|
You guys can share. But we'll be expecting an heir. And nudz of the heir-making deed.:naughty:
I haven't made any patches or anything in so long, I don't have any paint. And no money to buy some. It sucks man. |
any tips for taking jeans in? (making them tighter)
i bought a pair of "mission blues" (never heard of it) at a pawn shop to benefit a local organization, but they're wicked big, like i could fit a leg twice my size in it. do i just turn them inside out, measure, and sew straight then cut the excess off? or is it more comlicated? How does one do the.. groinular area? just take it up to the crotch seam? damn i need to learn more about this stuff.. but when i google it i just get girls jeans and "tips on how to make your thighs look slimmer". not exactly what i was looking for... anyway, yeah any help would be appreciated. peace guys |
hahha. i dont know much about jeans but shirts shrink in the wash. try that?
|
double post get over it.
i made that zoo shirt. it came out pretty decent. i did two coats but as i was taking the stencil off some of it got stuck to the paper so it ruined my stencil. No problem :D. I tried doing it with out a machine and my knots kept getting messed up, but I guess that was my fault. I always do the process 1-2 times to make sure I get the exact tightness I need :D. |

I made a winamp skin that looks like one of those old wood-and-silver receivers or something. That's... that's kind of DIY, right?
