Can you still? Uploads aren't allowed, though I know it's a live track.

Yeah, it wasn't officially released by the band right? So it's legal, I assume. |
I guess. I got it:
Bleak - Live Subject to posting approval |
Carefull, I'm pretty sure thats against the rules.
|
Jesus, I've sent so many links tonight :p.
Sent to Txus.
Hey everybody! He uploaded Steven Wilson's side project Blackfield, too! The links are going quick, so post your emails to take part in this extraordinary event! |
Carefull, I'm pretty sure thats against the rules.
I just put in an inquiry in Ask The Mods, so we'll know soon enough. |
True, I sent out a bunch of the Blackfield ones.
I'll ask about my link. EDIT: Nope, I can't post it, so continue the e-mailing. |
I'm really sorry about that. Seems a bit silly, but rules are rules.
|
Well, you're lucky that mx allows the forums to be indirect methods of sharing files. I personally had no problems with the YSI threads, but just realise that it could be a lot worse.

I agree. I was just wondering. |
Oo Creeping D,could ya send me the Blackfield? anticarnation@gmail.com
|
Sended.
Atonement has really grown on me. It used to be my least favorite on GR, now I really like it. |

Atonement has really grown on me. It used to be my least favorite on GR, now I really like it.
Yeah it's a great song, I love the "Haa-aaa-aa" melody parts, and the weird backwards parts near the end remind me of Beatles "Tomorrow Never Knows" |
The vocals are incredible in that song.
|
Yeah, and the way the keyboard goes along with them, it sounds so great
|
Can you send the Bleak vid to sicsic6icp1@netzero.net please?
|
I'll send it, Deth is offline.
|
Guess what guys:
I couldn't get my hands on my parents credit card to order my ticket all weekend due to the fact that they were away for my dad's birthday. So I kept checking for tickets, and up until a few hours ago it wasn't sold out, and then once they finally got home, I ran up here to order my ticket, and bam, it's now sold out. |
Huh, perfect timing :(
That sucks, but you can still see them in February. Try to get to an actual ticketmaster location so you won't get screwed over by something like that next time. |
Yeah, seriously.
|
I would feel sick to my stomach of that happened to me.
|
I would feel sick to my stomach of that happened to me.
Me to. I WILL not miss them when (if..) they come here in Feb... |

I'm so freaking dissapointed.... like... the entirety of my plans are ruined :upset:, I was so excited, I mean..... Opeth AND Into Eternity in one night, like quite possibly my two favorite bands ever (aside from In Flames). |
Somebody needs a hug.

I know how you feel...happened to me a few months ago with NIN. Of course, it was far less ironic than your circumstances, but I can relate. They'll be back around though :). |
Yes, it is ironic that my parents told me I could go, but failed to allow me to use the credit card before they left for the weekend.
|
Back in Febuary. Remember that.
|
Seriously they'll be back in February--well at least Opeth will. Also keep in mind that supporting bands on this tour aren't getting much playing time (even Nevermore's set was pretty short) so you probably wouldn't be satisfied with the length of Into Eternity's set.
Also I'll mention this again; who in this thread wants to take a deeper and more focused look at the lyrics to My Arms Your Hearse? I'm sure everyone understands the gist of the concept but may I remind everyone that the true story lies is in the nuances of the lyrics--those not readily apparent. I know Creeping Deth is ready to beast:naughty: |
No one at home is awake right now, so I have to say:
1. The Drapery Falls contains the most evil riff on BWP. 2. I listen to Demon of the Fall about every day. 3. There isn't a single second of Ghost Reveries that isn't incredibly goddamn awesome. 4. At around 5:25, the Grand Conjuration has an amazing scream. 5. The chorus to Isolation Years is heartbreakingly beautiful. If only the song weren't so short. Opeth rules. To me, personally, they're the culmination of my sort of "musical life", the embodiment of everything that I have been looking for the moment I started listening to music. |
Ghost Reveries rocks :thumb:
That scream is awesome, I love how it's it's so drawn out and sounds like it's being carried by the wind, like it's being done by an evil spirit. |
