Last night I decided to call someone at the very last minute (15 minutes before I was supposed to start) and cancel my shift. I've never done that before.

Wednesday I got a call saying that a lady didn't want to work the concession on friday at the hockey rink here, and was willing to pay someone $50 for it. (The parents have to pay a deposit of $100 when their kid signs up for hockey, then get it back if they work a shift at the concession, or get someone to do it for them) Without thinking if I had plans on friday night, I agreed. Then right before I left, for some reason or another, I looked in my wallet, and realized there was a concert at the library that night.

I called and cancelled, and felt so bad I offered to do it for her next time for free. But I'm so glad I cancelled. The concert was great.

I made 35 dollars tonight babysitting.

Lame way to earn money, but its 35 dollars more I can spend on a hihat stand.
