This is much better than I remember it being. I'm still not hugely crazy about it sounding like it was recorded underwater, but I dig it.
Yeah this has become one of my favorite black metal albums.

I don't get people who make long playlists to last for a day.

What if at some point you suddenly feel like listening to something entirely else?
Isn't it more efficient to just put on an album and after that look for another album that you feel like listening to at that point?

christsimpson 11-17-2010 06:22 AM

it's a punk rock band so it will hardly last a day. and if I feel like suddenly putting on something else I just... put on something else. it's not as if anyone is forcing me to listen to those albums in that exact order just because I added them to a playlist. playlists are dynamic. I can just add another album. or remove an album. simples.

because imposing abritrary limitations can sometimes create unexpected cool perspectives like what if doing that made you more confident in what was coming up, contrary to what your response means, and by the end you enjoyed the music more confidently and for a longer time than if you hadnt because of the different effects of not having to hope you make a good choice

also hearing a sequence of albums would indeed make you appreciate one that is put together as an album with a tracklist ndied by the artist, youd just pick up more on it

its possible

tbh idk why im answering this post

Meatplow 11-17-2010 08:23 AM

sometimes I make playlists out of my loved tracks on last.fm

usually I just bored making them though and just play my library on random instead

True, I guess.

I enjoy a moment of silence at the end of an album sometimes, though. Especially when an album ends with a really powerful track.
