i dont like either band all to much with one exception.

destruction- The antichrist is a amazing album.

enough talk about bad thrash bands/albums, i just got my hands on kreator's 2005 release, enemy of god. and i think its there best release yet. anybody else agree?

From what I've heard on Enemy of God (title track, World Anarchy, Impossible Brutality), its not as good as Pleasure to Kill or Coma of Souls, but its good stuff.

Anyone else notice the prechorus riff of Thrash Til Death is the same as one in FFF?

The song "voices of the dead" on enemy of god is by far the best song on the album.

Well i don't really like Kreator's new stuff too much, It's ok, its just not as good as the older classics.

I thought Tempo was pretty good except Culling The Herd and most of Foward March.

I acutally enjoyed Culling the Herd, and I thought the beginning of Forward March is sweet, but it dies down after about the first minute

On tempo may favourite is War is my Shepherd. Apart from that i don't think the album is too memorable.

War Is My Sheppard and the Title track for me. Scar Spangeld Banner and Shroud of Urine work fine for me too

Tempo was pretty good, especially for being thrash now-a-days. Even with all the line up changes and all the bad stuff happening with this new album, I think it's going to to be better. I have a feeling that Gary is going to be pissed off, and write us some evil thrash

Bostaph has some big shoes to fill aswell.

Yep. I've never been a fan of Bostaph's work, and I don't feel he's all that great of a drummer.

Also, about Sodom, I'm not one to ask for my opinion, but try "Agent Orange", as that album always seems to get a good reaction from Sodom fans

Destruction is a live band, so until you hear them live you really don't know exactly how good they are.

Overkill, overrated? Please.

I enjoyed TotD; Impaler was my favorite track.

Bostaph is definitely a good drummer; I think he can fill Hunting's shoes well on this upcoming release. Rob and Gary said that he was awesome during the recording of this new one.

I'll be buying that Eternal Nightmare re-release for sure.

For Sodom, get Obsessed By Cruelty, Persecution Mania, and Agent Orange in that order. You'll be surprised by the increase in quality if you listen to them in that order. Though anything with Sodom's name on it is worth checking out.
