I don't know how much that is, but I'd guess at about $250 maybe.

Bruces range is huge...

coolidgeALL 03-23-2005 01:56 PM

I have an Gibson SG, as well, it can hold its own. used or new?

He could sing anything.

ashman 03-23-2005 01:59 PM

'Twas new.

I've noticed that Bruce tries to sing Blaze-ish when he sings those songs live.

Thunder Fingers 03-23-2005 02:08 PM

i like when bruce does that.. he kinda "pushes" it more if you know what i mean... like SOTC on RIR....

I have A fender Geddy lee Jazz Bass...

Stevie 03-23-2005 02:09 PM

Bruce doesn't have particularly good range. He can't go very low.

Thunder Fingers 03-23-2005 02:11 PM
Bruce doesn't have particularly good range. He can't go very low.
"is running LOOOOOOOOOW"

goes kinda low there... he goes as low as he need for maiden...

Josh 03-23-2005 02:18 PM

yeh, and he can go quite high...the scream on NOTB, after the "i left alone, my mind was blank..." part of it

Stevie 03-23-2005 02:22 PM

You mean from 22 Acacia avenue? That's the lowest I can think of in my head. It sure ain't low!

Thunder Fingers 03-23-2005 02:26 PM

that was hallowed....

Josh 03-23-2005 02:28 PM

Blaze's voice sounds really dark and evil on the studio version of SOTC, but i like how Bruce does it live

Stew_Blink 03-23-2005 04:45 PM

Bruce's vocal range is unbelevable..beats me :p

i have some kind of behringer..or something, im a drummer, and im not that great at guitar so i don't need a good guitar..

Deth 03-23-2005 04:48 PM

No, I guess you don't.

Lightning_Rider 03-23-2005 09:52 PM

Who else just loves the Clansman, especially on Rock In Rio. I'd say that's definitely one of my favourite Maiden songs.

FREEEEEEEEEEDOM !

thelittledrummerboy 03-23-2005 10:29 PM

I do. I think it's great the way the style and sound changes all the time.

Lightning_Rider 03-23-2005 10:31 PM

Seriously, and the whole song fits together so wonderfully... but then again so do most of Maiden's songs...

thelittledrummerboy 03-23-2005 10:35 PM

Yeah i know, there aren't big pause's to get everyone ready, it just flows you know man.

Lord Abortion 03-24-2005 04:22 AM

its brilliant...... i listen to it more than the other RiR songs.... and i know that blaze did it first, but blaze mutilates it.....

Lord Abortion 03-24-2005 06:01 AM

not a fan of the clansman really...

overrated IMO...

amateurbassist 03-24-2005 06:05 AM

thats how i felt at first but the song kinda grew on me ya know?

thedude182 03-24-2005 06:09 AM

Blood Brother RiR is amazing...I love what they do in Sanctuary though...

"Left, right, left, right, so give me sanctuary..."

On headphones it changes the side you can hear the crowd from so you hear it like you were there, amazing...

There's Live at the Ruskin Arms, which was never released. Funnily enough Steve thought he lost the tape until he found it knocking around an old cupboard.

There's also Live At the Rainbow, which has been released before. I got it on Video ages ago, Dave has a huge stage presence on that video.

Lord Abortion 03-24-2005 07:01 AM

yup... gret version of another life
which is probably my favourite killers song

Josh 03-24-2005 07:04 AM
