If I hooked up 2 cabs which both run at 8 ohms each... to a head that runs 300 watts at 4 ohms... will it run at 300 watts... or will it run at 170 watts(which is what the head runs at, at 8 ohms...)....

good morning all how is everyone? I just got my exam results and they're all +65% so I'm in a good mood!
I was in St-Petersburg last week and I went in search of a Russian Big Muff but not one store had them in stock! They were all like: "yeah we now that one but we don't have it right now" so that was depressing.
Oh and the 60's jazz bass I ordered has arrived at the shop.Unfortenately I won't have enough money to actually get it until somewhere in May or June.

So I heard the guitar forum had to delete their version of the Casual Compendium because it took up too much space on the database/server.

Do you think that could happen to this thread? I mean we'd just start a new one but still.

let's do some maths....

normally 3000 posts take about one MB on the Server.
So this thread alone takes about 25 MB (surely more because of atachments...).

so in a stricly theoretical term deleting this thread would bring about 30 MB of free server space, what is quite a lot.
