I'm gonna say you have no fu[size=2]cking[/size] idea what the hell you're talking about when it comes to screaming. A high pitched scream has nothing to do with ANY FU[size=2]CKING[/size] GENRE. Plenty of death metal and melodic death metal bands have high vocals: Job For A Cowboy, TTEOTD, Cryptopsy, In Flames, At The Gates, Bring Me The Horizon, In Death We Rise, Thy Art Is Murder, The Black Dahlia Murder, Arsis, Cannibal Corpse, Thou Shalt Suffer, and that one band, what's their name, oh yeah - f[size=2]ucking[/size] [size=7]DEATH[/size] etc.

Just because some bands emphasize high screams more than low screams, doesn't mean they're not death metal vocals.

And for the record, the majority of metalcore vocalists do a mid-ranged shouting style scream.

Thus far the writing for the new album is progressing very well. 6 songs have been completed, with several more in the works. It is hoped the recording will take place in Feb/March 2008. The band are very happy with the results thus far, and it will be the best Psycroptic album to date, without doubt!
