There is absolutely no point in going to a "chain" ethnic restaurant, when there are so many privately- or family-owned restaurants around.
I didn't know how true this was until I had Taco Jalisco (the place I was talking about earlier). So great.

coheneran 02-06-2006 04:27 AM

I hear Taco Bell are nice.

Today is going to be a lazy day =(

TakeWarning 02-06-2006 07:17 AM

When it comes to fast food, nothing tops the Portugese chicken joint round the corner from me.

I beg to differ. There's a curryhouse in Whitechapel that make their own samosas at the beginning of the day, and then they just microwave it for a minute when someone comes to buy, and they are the nicest samosas I have ever tasted.

holy_roller99 02-06-2006 10:31 AM

never did like mexican food

Liebensaft 02-06-2006 11:52 AM

I love Taco Bell. I also like more authentic Mexican food too.

coheneran 02-06-2006 12:36 PM

Is it true that the majority of Taco Bell workers are black and the majority of KFC workers are Latin American?

AIRIC 02-06-2006 01:51 PM

Hey Joe I bet you want me to put the new Ghost Mice album on Peter Jenning don't you?

sketchyjoe 02-06-2006 02:05 PM

AIRIC 02-06-2006 02:22 PM
Did that thing cost any money?
Nope.

http://www.audioscrobbler.net/wiki/LastFmDisplayer

There's all the stuff to set it up and I just got an account at hostultra.com because it's free and unlimited file space.

Why wont it work on myspace, though?

I'll look into it later, but I'm too lazy now. My brother had just gotten one that only displays the last 3 tracks played, and I've been using that.

Rise Me Up 02-06-2006 05:00 PM

That's a nice avatar ASDF. The old one was better though.

I was sick of the old one. I might switch to the original one I used, though. I don't really like this one either, but obviously am in a creative slump.

Because it needs to use Javascript to display since its a combination of coding and a flash.

asdf 02-06-2006 05:12 PM

Makes sense.

Get a dinosaur next, everyone loves dinos.

DaveToopes 02-06-2006 06:16 PM

Everyone loves Gumby.

AIRIC 02-06-2006 06:18 PM

I was Gumby for Halloween in 7th grade.

Brain Toad 02-06-2006 06:20 PM

Everybody loves Pintsize

You know what a good Halloween costume would be? The Dude from The Big Lebowski.

coheneran 02-06-2006 06:33 PM
Everybody loves Pintsize
He's barely been on in the last couple of weeks. The older comics that practically revolved around him were the funniest.
You know what a good Halloween costume would be? The Dude from The Big Lebowski.
Just a fat guy walking around in a robe? It's a good idea for the lazy sugar junkie, but who wants to walk around in boxers and an open robe in October/November?
