Brother Ali sold out at the Badlander and I didn't get tickets. That was a horrible feeling. It's like when you're playing softball and you swing and miss the ball.

I've been meaning to do that for such a long time, but have yet to get up the motivation.

Next time I have a lot of free time.

I only do it with certain songs because it works so well. I'm not enthused about pressing the next button 40 times.

I just can't get myself to listen to the residents as much as I used to, espcially ever since I've cared about properly tagged music. I'm leaving almost 3 gigs worth of Residents material on my old computer strictly because I don't care about it, or it's so horribly unlabelled that I have no idea where it's from.

I do have two versions of the warner bros. album that I should maybe take, though.

I was really never into them too much. There was a period though where I listened to the Commercial Album and Duckstab a lot. Now I just use them to shock certain people.

Commercial album and Duckstab are albums that will always be good to me. They really are the most accessable residents material.

I will also always love Third Reich n Roll, and Tunes of Two Cities

Also somewhat recently discovered that I really enjoy george and james, and I wish they did more with that series (as it was going to include sun ra)


But I cannot for the life of me tollerate any recent residents. By recent I mean the last 10-15 years. Ugh.

Third Reich and Roll is a classic. I downloaded a torrent of all of their albums and have only listened to around 5 of them.
