Gigantour.2006.NA starts in September and ends in October, with more details coming soon; we have one show in Japan in October, after Gigantour in North America; we are nearing our release date for the details about a very possible Gigantour.2006.OZ; then there will be various dates in the states and elsewhere leading up to the European leg of this World Tour, which may end up being Gigantour.2006.EU. Any dates following this will be posted at either the Megadeth Killing Road page or the "smell the asphalt" page at the Gigantour.com site or at "upcoming shows" section of our official Myspace.

Thanks a lot man :)

Lord Abortion 07-26-2006 09:58 AM

If it ended up being 'deth supported by Opeth, that would be great.

Apocalyptic Raids 07-26-2006 10:02 AM

Megadeth and Overkill would be insane.

Better than Megadeth and Dungeon, even
I'd much rather just have a Megadeth tour, rather than, let's face it, have to go to London to see them, which is blatantly the only place Gigantour will go if it comes here.
I dunno, I think it's more likely to be further up North from London.

I mean Gigantour in Hyde Park just doesn't sound like reality.

victim of changes 07-26-2006 03:11 PM

I'd rather have a just Megadeth tour for the music, i dont wanna wait for all those acts at gigantour to get to megadeth's performance.

sabbath1991 07-26-2006 03:23 PM

eug009 07-27-2006 03:23 AM

I heared rumors about "mary jane" being a code name for MARIJUANA

Chu 07-27-2006 06:49 AM
I heared rumors about "mary jane" being a code name for MARIJUANA
And that is in fact what it is, at least the Megadeth song is talking about that.

Prince Charming 07-27-2006 06:52 AM

ITT: We have Idiocy

I thought mary jane was weed as well.

Back to Megadeth,

Angry Again, Am I the only one loving this?
ahh. Jane, did you have another account, because I seem to think I've seen you around before on here.
didn't understand your question

Anyway, what is your favorite megadeth solo?
For me, its the "Last rites/loved to death" one.

jane 07-27-2006 07:53 AM

Do you know some track names from the upcoming album?
Those i know are : "Washington's next" and "Gears of war"

Mother 07-27-2006 07:54 AM

tornado of souls
dred and the fugitive mind
poison was the cure

off the top of my head.

jane 07-27-2006 08:05 AM

Every megadeth guitarist have a different style of soloing:
Chris polond :the boots
Jeff young ; in my darkest hour
Marty friedman : tornado of souls
Al pitrelli: Return to Hangar
Dave mustaine: Holy war
Glen drover : Can't wait to hear it

I'd say from what I've heard from Megadeth live, drover's closer to Pitrelli's and Young's style.
I'd say from what I've heard from Megadeth live, drover's closer to Pitrelli's and Young's style.
Aww, those were my least favourite Deth guitarists.

Apocalyptic Raids 07-27-2006 08:58 AM

But Drover is playing the others' solos :-\

Wait until they release the new album, guys.

Chu 07-28-2006 02:07 AM

Spose I'm the only one who loves Young?

I think Megadeth were best around SF, SG... SW! though...

Apocalyptic Raids 07-28-2006 02:16 AM

It definitely wasn't their peak, but it's a good album.

eug009 07-28-2006 05:28 AM

It was an alright CD, a few cool tracks but nothing more

jane 07-28-2006 05:35 AM

A great album, the solos are amazing.
Sorry but I gotta dissagree with you, TWNAH and Risk awsome???
RISK and TWNAH are different, but not bad

eug009 07-28-2006 08:22 AM

I guess Risk was good for the genre but TWNAH was just bland and uninteresting

jane 07-28-2006 08:24 AM
I guess Risk was good for the genre but TWNAH was just bland and uninteresting
TWNAH has some good songs like: return to hangar, warhorse...recipe for hate, coming home.

Mazeppa 07-28-2006 08:46 AM
I guess Risk was good for the genre but TWNAH was just bland and uninteresting
Tracks from TWNAH are definitely better heard at a show. I'd agree that on record they're fairly bland but live they were good.

Mother 07-28-2006 08:53 AM

I like dread and the fugitive mind.

GenuineImitation 07-28-2006 02:44 PM

What do you guys think of Youthanasia?

Jev 07-28-2006 02:57 PM

It has it's good points and some really bad ones too.

Kinda meh all round.
