They're ok, I liked their older album better. And once I heard Unearth and Shadows Fall, most everything else that sounds a little like them pales in comparison.

cbmartinez 01-25-2005 03:51 PM

Buddy, I don't see you in that video. Unless your the dude with the video camera up front.

BuddyBigsby 01-25-2005 04:02 PM

Nope. I only go by a couple times, like I said, I don't think you could find me unless someone physically pointed me out.

BuddyBigsby 01-25-2005 04:05 PM
*is not cool*

Everyone go listen to have heart--purevolume.com/haveheart.
They were at that show with Guns Up! that I posted the video of. I was blown away and have been listening to the EP non-stop ever since.

And Dead to Fall are just breakdown. I'm making that a genre. Symphony in Peril and Remembering Never are in there too.

young, loud and andrew 01-25-2005 04:08 PM

I don't think I saw the video. Anyway, the demo and the EP are fantastic. AND, they have mesh shorts... maybe I'll buy 'em sometime.

A-Life-Less-Plagued 01-25-2005 04:12 PM

I just listened to Guns Up and Have Heart because of Buddy and punkerx99's posts. Both sound really good.

cbmartinez 01-25-2005 04:15 PM

Yeah, that breakdown thing towards the end of the Guns Up! video sounded awesome.

A-Life-Less-Plagued 01-25-2005 04:17 PM

I like the breakdown in the other song they have up there (How It's Done) better.

That Have Heart is pretty good stuff. I learn about so many bands on this thread, its not even funny.

cbmartinez 01-25-2005 04:30 PM

This thread is now like 90% Hardcore/9% Metalcore/1% Copeland Education. I'm learning a lot more about hardcore.

young, loud and andrew 01-25-2005 04:32 PM

^ likewise.

Have Heart's website can be found via howsyouredge.com or thinkfastrecords.com

They often get paired with Youth Attack--purevolume.com/youthattack. I haven't heard much of their stuff, but I know Shane likes them a lot.

A-Life-Less-Plagued 01-25-2005 04:55 PM

Youth Attack are all 16 right?

NewKindofArmy03 01-25-2005 06:23 PM

Yeah, they might be a little older now, but i'm not sure.

Dead to Fall are just generic metalcore, but the song I heard wasn't that bad. I wouldn't buy one of their cds or anything though.

shane italian 01-25-2005 06:25 PM

Man I love Adora.

I WILL DIE STRONG! NOT FALLEN A DISGRACE!

cbmartinez 01-25-2005 06:40 PM

Shane, your user title is like taleoftwocitiescore.

40 oz 2 freedom 01-25-2005 07:08 PM

I think I saw you in the video Buddy.

cbmartinez 01-25-2005 07:08 PM

Also Shane, I was looking at some of your old threads and I checked out Since By Man. Damn, they own! I'm digging these purevolume songs hardcore.

EvIL_ToASTER_OVEN 01-25-2005 07:29 PM

 I know those guys! Like, I've met them when I went to Milwauke with my father! I hadn't even heard their stuff but they said they were in a band called Since By Man and said I should come to a show, but I couldn't because we were leaving that night. Unless theres another band called that in Millwauke then it's a small world.

BuddyBigsby 01-25-2005 07:38 PM

Hahaha, that's a great story.

Seriously though, Since By Man pwn.

The Shai Hulud Retrospective is out. I kind of want it.

NewKindofArmy03 01-25-2005 08:46 PM

I still never listened to them, maybe I should do that now.

Let's Chop Cats! 01-25-2005 08:48 PM

Their first full length is probably, they're best release. It took me a bit to get into. They're kind of like The Procedure as in hardcore but not like just 4 chords, breakdown 4 chords.

NewKindofArmy03 01-25-2005 08:49 PM

Do you have the new Forward to Death cd. If so, is it any good? Perfect Victim has this thing where I can send them a receipt and get a free cd of my choice from them too.

A-Life-Less-Plagued 01-25-2005 08:50 PM

I need a Shai Hulud album. What's their best?

NewKindofArmy03 01-25-2005 08:52 PM
Their first full length is probably, they're best release.
Eh, i'm going to say their first full length is probably their best release. :)

Let's Chop Cats! 01-25-2005 08:52 PM

I'm going to get it if I got see them with Kill Your Idols and Crime in Stereo in a few weeks. I heard it's good.

Hearts once Nourished with Hope & Compassion is SH best album.

Hehe, I'm trying to do like 5 things at once right now and I'm so confused.

A-Life-Less-Plagued 01-25-2005 08:55 PM
Eh, i'm going to say their first full length is probably their best release. :)
Yeah, I didn't see that before I posted mine. Is it a different singer on Hearts Once Nourished than on That Within...?

shane italian 01-25-2005 08:57 PM

I prefer That Within Blood Ill Tempered or whatever it's called.
