So when I was at the bar last night, one of the guys bought some shots of this liquor. I don't know what it was, but it tasted like chocolate chip cookies. Does anyone have any idea of what that might be?
What colour was it?

User Name 03-11-2007 08:24 PM

Ok, after playing trumpet for a few minutes, I've decided to switch from bass for my class. I'll just keep the bass clef real book and continue to teach myself <_< >_>. Plus, I won't have to switch with the other bassist after every song.
What colour was it?
lol your situation sound exactly like mine. <_< I was also thinking of playing trumpet again too since the only trumpet left in the band is the conductor
so who has crazy plans for st. patties day?
I'll wear my green shirt...
lol your situation sound exactly like mine. <_< I was also thinking of playing trumpet again too since the only trumpet left in the band is the conductor
But you're good at bass?

Ting 03-11-2007 08:28 PM

Shredding and reading sheet music isn't exactly the same
lol your situation sound exactly like mine. <_< I was also thinking of playing trumpet again too since the only trumpet left in the band is the conductor
Wow, same here on the conductor thing. That is weird.

Trevo 03-11-2007 08:29 PM
Shredding and reading sheet music isn't exactly the same
True, but it's not that hard, I learned to read sheet music for bass in less than a week.

Ting 03-11-2007 08:29 PM

Now that i think of it ben, it could be godiva since they have a lot of chocolate flavoured liquer

BenJammin 03-11-2007 08:30 PM
Now that i think of it ben, it could be godiva since they have a lot of chocolate flavoured liquer
Hmm. That's a possibility.

Whatever it was, I want to know, because it would be the easiest drunk in the world.

Ting 03-11-2007 08:30 PM
True, but it's not that hard, I learned to read sheet music for bass in less than a week.
Meh. Its the sight reading that gets me

Rollo47 03-11-2007 08:30 PM
No, it definitely wasn't Baileys. It was a translucent, almost yellow colour.
Possibly Frangelico, I'm thinking. Or Creme De Cacao, but that's a long shot.

User Name 03-11-2007 08:31 PM
True, but it's not that hard, I learned to read sheet music for bass in less than a week.
Same, I picked up the treble clef really quick in 5th grade. I don't know what the problem is.

Trevo 03-11-2007 08:33 PM

I don't get MIDI, it says this keyboard has MIDI I/O, what does this mean?

BenJammin 03-11-2007 08:34 PM
Possibly Frangelico, I'm thinking. Or Creme De Cacao, but that's a long shot.
Hm. I'll have to investigate this.

Once my liver stops hurting.

British Kid 03-11-2007 08:35 PM
so who has crazy plans for st. patties day?
Left Shoe 03-11-2007 08:36 PM
Meh. Its the sight reading that gets me
Rollo47 03-11-2007 08:36 PM
Hm. I'll have to investigate this.

I would say Frangelico is the most likely. Great stuff, it is.

British Kid 03-11-2007 08:36 PM
hell yes it does
then, my good man, it shall be a glorious and crazy st. patricks day for me!

BenJammin 03-11-2007 08:37 PM
I would say Frangelico is the most likely. Great stuff, it is.
Yeah. Whatever this was, it was great.

Of course, I was so drunk by the time they brought this out that I probably would have drank anything.

Thonk 03-11-2007 08:38 PM
I don't get MIDI, it says this keyboard has MIDI I/O, what does this mean?
It has MIDI input and output jacks.

Trevo 03-11-2007 08:39 PM
It has MIDI input and output jacks.
Ok, and another question, how would I record with a piano?

Rollo47 03-11-2007 08:41 PM
Yeah. Whatever this was, it was great.

Of course, I was so drunk by the time they brought this out that I probably would have drank anything.
Oh, I know that feeling. That's me after 16 beers and five shots of absinthe.

Thonk 03-11-2007 08:41 PM

The same way you would record with a bass/guitar, I'd assume.

I've never done it, though.

Trevo 03-11-2007 08:41 PM

Ok, I'd like to just do some neat riffs over my bass.

M__ 03-11-2007 08:42 PM

yeah you do it the same way. really simple actually

Ting 03-11-2007 08:42 PM

Man i havn't played with an E string on my acoustic for song long. I broke the string then lost the bridge peg

Trevo 03-11-2007 08:43 PM

So I can just plug a keyboard straght into the computer, good.

:amaze: 03-11-2007 08:44 PM

hello.

BenJammin 03-11-2007 08:44 PM
Oh, I know that feeling. That's me after 16 beers and five shots of absinthe.
Oof... absinthe. I had one shot of that, a few months ago. Tasty stuff, but enough of that'll fuck you up quite well.

Last night was 12 or 13 beers, and then 3 shots of this mystery liquor. I was definitely feeling good.

Trevo 03-11-2007 08:45 PM
YIM again anyone?
Hmmm...why not.

British Kid 03-11-2007 08:46 PM

ah, back to a staple topic of the casuals.... alcohol. :D

Ting 03-11-2007 08:46 PM
