i am by no means the authority here bro, the more people gaining and dropping knowledge the better !

Doublebasssabian 09-16-2010 06:01 AM

future garage seems like dubstep-lite, no bass, no original sounding beats....the XXXY was alright but....

2muchket! 09-16-2010 07:38 AM

ugh

Doublebasssabian 09-16-2010 08:01 AM

hanging?

2muchket! 09-16-2010 08:04 AM

no man i tried to give you the benefit of the doubt

not making it easy when you're saying such moronic shit though

Smoochy 09-16-2010 09:50 AM

Someone showed me this guy that can do dubstep human beatbox. Anyone know of this dude?

I can't remember his name or anything, but I'd like to look him up again.

Doublebasssabian 09-16-2010 10:18 AM

what moronic shit lol....to me future garage doesnt sound similar to dubstep *shrugs*, and is vastly inferior. it sounds like the crap that was being put on every compilation in the 90's, shit like Sambucca. again, just my opinion.

that being said, sukh knight is decent so cheers for that.

2muchket! 09-16-2010 10:24 AM

Yeah aye probs being a bit too harsh again/

But so called 'future garage' is just a further progression of uk garage, and therefore similar to dubstep in that the actual 'step' in dubstep refers to 2-step garage so I still have a point. In fact 'future garage' has more in common with what dubstep in theory should be rather than a lot of the mainstream dubstep that's put there, like (shudder) Mt fucking Eden.

Checked out the new Digitial Mystikz yet ? Quite different to all their old stuff but I really really like it. Tomba is worth checking out and if you want something more left field check out the new Clubroot and Mount Kimbie albums dude.

Doublebasssabian 09-16-2010 10:32 AM

thats fair, but you hit the nail on the head when you said dubstep in theory lol.

i've heard odd songs, is there an album to check out or just singles/mixes?

Happymeal 09-16-2010 11:38 AM

i'm personally more into Mala's style (solo material) and stuff that leans towards the Garage side, which is why i posted those songs

Safehouses EP by Pariah keeping me occupied today

Return II Space 6 track ep.

If you're looking for bass heavy stuff however check out tomba and stenchman.

Infact definitely get Abyss by stenchman, might review that when I next get chance.

Doublebasssabian 09-16-2010 12:45 PM

2muchket! 09-16-2010 01:00 PM
