Jaundice 09-22-2009 08:56 AM

i like them but all I have right now is Too Dark Park and I still need to give it a few more listens

Meatplow 09-22-2009 09:50 AM

the new Crossbreed wasn't bad, for some ex-nu metal now industrial metal type stuff

anyone listen to bohren und der club of gore? name is kinda silly but its some of the chillest music ive ever heard. kinda like, ambient lounge jazz. its like they knew exactly what i think the most chill music ever would be.

Txus 09-22-2009 02:53 PM

My favorite "modern" Jazz band, yeah.

Meatplow 09-22-2009 09:17 PM

my new track let me know what you think

Jaundice 09-22-2009 09:21 PM

aww fukk yall its new CCH

downloading presently

Meatplow 09-22-2009 09:31 PM

excellent

not bad for a few hours work I hope

Jaundice 09-22-2009 09:35 PM

few hours? I wish I had your dedication, Pink and Yellow is dedicated to throwing things together in less than an hour and a half.

I like this though, really full up with samples and background noise. The guitar riff really helps things along. More captivating than previous CCH material

Jaundice 09-22-2009 10:17 PM

hey i just discovered a forgotten Pink and Yellow track

http://www.box.net/shared/vshsk6ed5x

kind of obnoxious but cute nevertheless

Meatplow 09-23-2009 12:19 AM

reminds me of a drunken Autechre

Jaundice 09-23-2009 12:22 AM

thats a very unusual way of looking at it.

i dont have much opinion on it, i just love the random ten seconds or so of typical pink and yellow happiness at the end

Meatplow 09-23-2009 12:42 AM

i've been using rob papen predator a lot for synths

Jaundice 09-23-2009 12:49 AM

i need more VsTs

Meatplow 09-23-2009 12:50 AM

try not to get too many at once because you start playing around too much and it gets gimmicky. most come with some kind of documentation that is worth reading

absynth is the best i've found yet

Nepenthe 09-23-2009 12:54 AM

hypersonic 2 and nexus crush absynth. and every other vst in existence for that matter.

Meatplow 09-23-2009 12:55 AM

i've heard good things about those as well, i've probably already got more then what I need though

Jaundice 09-23-2009 01:26 AM

i just have the things that came with FL Studio and a few random chiptune things

Nepenthe 09-23-2009 01:27 AM

guys should definitely look into the 2 i mentioned. literally no need for others when you have them.

Meatplow 09-23-2009 01:27 AM

will do eventually, cheers. i'm in a fairly comfortable niche atm though

Nepenthe 09-24-2009 01:17 PM

haz you should check out the album birch white by whisper room. i think youll like it if youre into autechre.

Meatplow 09-24-2009 08:52 PM

Thanks man, I will.

I've heard a lot of praise for Gridlock's Formless, checking that out soon.

Jaundice 09-24-2009 08:53 PM

i need more depraved and decadent sound collage from many years ago

early monte cazazza relaxes the piss out of me for some reason

Meatplow 09-24-2009 08:56 PM

did you get Boyd Rice and Frank Tovey's Easy Listening For The Hard of Hearing?

you might enjoy some of the early stuff from Current 93 and Death In June, the latter in particular

Jaundice 09-24-2009 08:57 PM

nah, will check out that boyd rice thing though

im a bit hesitant to touch death in june and current 93, tho

Meatplow 09-24-2009 08:58 PM

it's neo-folk but it started off with a pretty strong industrial/ambient/post-punk influence

Nepenthe 09-24-2009 08:59 PM

current 93 is amazingness

Meatplow 09-24-2009 09:05 PM

something like Throbbing Gristle's The Second Annual Report might be more up your alley though, i'm pretty sure you would have heard it by now though.

Jaundice 09-24-2009 09:57 PM

meh, good record but i've always found it pretty mediocre

Meatplow 09-24-2009 09:58 PM

I thought it was better then Monte Cazazza at least

if I come across more of that sort of stuff i'll let you know
