Vocally they are pretty mediocre aside from a couple catchy lines on the new cd, but musically I like the more melodic stuff that they do, while still having screamed vocals over top of it, somehow they make it work.

The new Evergreen Terrace is solid. I know they're generic, but I really enjoy them.

I don't know, Evergreen Terrace's earlier stuff is much better, from a vocal standpoint at least. The music is still really generic/uninspired, but it's good for what it is, it's just they've made no musical progression, and there vocalist is one of those guys who lacks so much in technique that his voice is already that much worse than it used to be.

They're pretty good.

They don't really portray any specific mood though. I went on a binge of their music, and it wore thin really fast. They're very substanceless, even if their music is catchy.

Yeah, they are insanely overrated. All I hear about is "how skilled musicians they are" and "they are SO INSANELY BR00TAL." F[I]u[/I]cking kids need to hear a real brutal band.
