Have you not heard much rush?
I know "Tom Sawyer" "Closer To The Heart" "Freewill" "YYZ" "The Spirit Of Radio" and now "Working Man"

That riff really gets me into it.

cant canada do anything right. sometimes when i hear rush my testicles start to bleed becuase his voice is so high. i cant stand high voices, they make my testicles bleed.

and theyre drumming is annoying too because its all like in odd time and stuff, and my feeble brain cannot handle this "odd time" what the hell is that anyway god what is like the song being 3:43 seconds odd time but like 3:42 even time what the hell

screw canada

umm so whenever you hear a girl sing or talk your testicles bleed? That's pretty unfortunate

And wtf are you talking about 3:43 odd time or 3:42 even??

Sucks for you to not understand time signatures. With the way you're babbling, I don't even think things like "4/4" make sense to you.

Don't think too hard about it, it'll make your head explode.

The vocals really aren't all that high. They're a little screachy at times, but overall I think that they sound good. If you think that their vocals are that high pitched and terrible, you obviously haven't heard much of their music
and theyre drumming is annoying too because its all like in odd time and stuff, and my feeble brain cannot handle this "odd time" what the hell is that anyway god what is like the song being 3:43 seconds odd time but like 3:42 even time what the hell

This makes absolutely no sense. You don't like their drumming being of "odd time"? How about you listen to the drums just for the sound of them instead of accessing every stupid little detail. Open your "feeble brain" and listen to how good the MUSIC sounds.
screw canada
Oh yes, because Rush are a direct product of Canada . This is complete idiocy. The country that a band is from has absolutely nothing to do with a band's music.

Yep, screw America because of Blink 182, 50 Cent and all of that other ****! Screw every country in the world that ever had a band that you don't like! (which is all of them)

Moron.

BludgeonySteve 09-03-2005 10:11 PM

I'm on to 2112. My play list isn't on random or anything. It goes by artist and album.

thunderzstruck 09-03-2005 10:13 PM

I'm now listening to Iron Maiden "trooper" I just got one of their albums and I'm loving it

Nomore rush for now :(

but another time will come...

BludgeonySteve 09-03-2005 10:15 PM

Heh. I think I might listen to some 'Maiden after 2112. Iron Maiden and Rush fans are usually the same people. They're kind of similar (kind of). An awesome tour woul dbe Iron Maiden, Dream Theater and Rush.

Too many good bassists, guitarists, and drummers. *Face explodes*

Most of the time, anyways. It's definitly easier to respect them when you play music yourself.

What if they were all to write a song together? Would your nads explode?

Depends on who ends up playing it. It would have to be like this:

Rhythm bass: Steve Harris
Lead bass: Geddy Lee
Guitars: Petrucci, Lifeson, and Smith
Vocals: Bruce Dickinson
Drums: Everyone else, even the non-drummers

Then yes, I would face a severe testicular compromise. :upset:

Ha, sweet. Geddy and Steve Harris both playing at the same time. And I think that Lifeson and Smith will keep John Petrucci from doing one of those all out wank off solos, so it will all be coo.

Couldn't Bruce, Geddy and James LaBrie all sing, too? Vocal harmonies, trade offs between singing. All of that good stuff.

Also i'd let Jordan Rudess play keyboards, just because.
