Is it totally impossible to download Still songs!? Everything besides And All That Could've Been are so hard to get. Does anyone have the whole album with the single songs that they can just post up or personally give to me or something, I'm totally craving it right now.
|
I'm pretty sure clearvision has it, and I think magicaltroll does, but I'm not sure. If you want to try and flag down either of them, I'm sure they'd give it to you. I have it, but I don't have the songs on my computer and I can't rip them at the moment.
You are aware, of course, that it is now available to buy again? |
I have Still as well, and yes you can buy it again now too.
|
I am sooooooo looking foward to this. I need to buy it.

Still is back in print, officially, as others have said. Check the NIN site. Also, I kind of like The Collector. If anything, it reminds me a little bit of March of the Pigs, just the way the beat fucks with your head, and is really unpredictable. For me, Sunspots was kind of boring, and it took me a while to appreciate Beside You In Time. Otherwise, this album has really grown on me, inspired me, and I love it. |

Man, the instant I heard that song, I had a HUGE smile on my face. And I love your avatar, I'm listening to them right now. |

When I click those links, all I can do is listen to them, it seems like streaming. |

That song was an instant eargasm for me. |
In conclusion, after listening to nothing else for two days; I still like every single song. Sunspots, Beside You In Time and With Teeth included. I really do have no favourites. Also, Trent Reznor is coming to live in my wardrobe if he knows what's good for him.

If you really want i can upload it all for you, just give me a shout :) Med... <3 ... that version of right where it belongs was good. That song is clearly my favourite Nin song. Home is also a quality track... |

But I get this realllll nostalgic feeling listening to Beside You In Time, at the point when Reznor is repeating "and on..." and the similar sounding tune of "The Frail" playing behind him, it just feels like to fully appreciate the song you have to have been listening to NIN for a while. I really can't get over how awesome Trent Reznor, NIN and this album is. I love how much Trent is doing for the fans too lately, with the Garageband remix files(I really hope he keeps that up.), answering questions on his website, this is all just reminding me why Reznor's one of my favorite musical artists, ever. |
When you click the links, you should get the "you have the following file available for download" screen, then click on the link to download the file. Click where it tells you if the download doesn't start, and then select the "save" option. That should work...:-/
There's no save option, it just opens Windows media. |
That song was an instant eargasm for me.
Me too, because I heard how good it was, so thats the first song I turned it to. |
Bump, cause I really want those two songs.

Easily one of my favorite bands. Back to With Teeth, the first thing about Only that really grabbed me was the bassline, and I realized how great a second single this will make. |
I bought "With Teeth" a few days ago and I think the entire album is absolutely amazing. It is definitely one of my worthier purchases recently, I am SO glad I decided to buy it. My favorite song is actually "Only" because of it's great bassline and Reznor's captivating vocals. This being said, I believe with no doubt in my mind Reznor has done it again!

Only is a great song.
Does anyone else get the feeling that you're traveling backwards through time as you listen to With Teeth? |

Haha, actually that's not what I was talking about. I meant thematically, in the lyrics and the concept of the album.

Haven't really gone into the lyrics yet, as in figuring out what I think they mean... I should get on that. EDIT-I thought the second song was You Know WHAT You Are? not You Know Who You Are?... Weird... |
I like the lyrics on this album a lot. There are plenty of motifs that will keep me busy in deciding on how they relate to each other...Also I love hte lyrics of Right Where It Belongs. The line "What if all the world you thought you knew was just an elaborate dream?" It actually made me think about what that would be like and made me start pondering life a little.

My favorite lyrics from that song would be "What if you could see right through the crack? Would you find yourself, find yourself afraid to see?" Pretty cool song, it took awhile to grow on me though, I wasn't really expecting a sonjg like that... I was expecting a depressing song, but this one is kind of depressing in its own way... |
I love the lyrics to 'Right Where It Belongs'...my favorite part is probably the entire chorus. Great song.

Actually, at first it didn't seem so much, but after listening to it more and more, I see that it really is a very melancholy and depressing song. The thing is, it has an uplifting tone to it as well. It's almost like the light at the end of the tunnel, that there is some hope left. That's something that didn't really happen on Hurt, which is the song it is most likened to. It's a great song, I truly love it. I need to think more about the meanings of this album. I seem to get a concept from all the songs, even though it's mostly not considered a concept album per se. I haven't put as much thought into it as I have TDS and The Fragile, but I guess it will come. |
Yeah, it'll prolly come eventually.
Anyone else notice in the begginning of With Teeth (song) that it says "feed me" in a robotic type voice? Pretty interesting... |

The themes in this album are to me are much more personal than his previous work, he has stepped out of the denial which drugs and alcohol have kept him in for the past years and been forced to take a good hard look at himself, in terms of where he has been, where he wants to go and his role in the world. Ill do some better analysis when i get the chance. |
So what's everyones 10 favourite songs from Nine Inch Nails? I know it's hard to pick, but some must stand out above others.
Mine are : Happiness In Slavery Reptile Eraser Heresy The Perfect Drug Hurt Suck And All That Could've Been The Big Comedown Something I Can Never Have |
