Billy Bragg and Wilco - "Walt Whitman's Niece"

Anyone else heard Mermaid Avenue? It's good tequila-drinking music. And, beyond my foolish superficiality, it's an amazing, beautiful record.

Holy crap I think I love you. One of my favorite bands and my favorite of their songs.

Check out Maudlin of the Well, basically the same band before they changed their name, but more metal-based. Not quite as good as Kayo Dot, but still pretty awesome.

But anyway, I'm currently groovin' to the phat beats of:

27 - 9 Mile Burn

I'm Kazzo on Soulseek, but I don't have any mp3s of them on my computer. You can try coming to the room The Midnight Society and asking some people there, there's some hep cats there. Just beware, newcomers tend to get fucked with a lot.

I am listening to Snoop Dogg's cover of "Sad But True" by Metallica. I don't think a better cover song has ever been done, except maybe when Biz Markie did "Benny and the Jets".
