Sweet dude. Slayer freaking rules. Hey, am I the only Titan who is sick of the infighting? I thought we were a clan, not a bunch of whiners. I thought our differing opinions is what made us stand out as individuals. In fact, that's what made the Titans of Thrash so much different. I don't see the Baphomet Horde or the Circle of Bards doing that ****! |
infighting <-- why the Horde pwns you ;)
|
sacrifice: you are the biggest whiner here. i dont see any infighting. stop whining for once.
|
Good call manuscript.
Is it me or does a big percentage of the Titans of Thrash come from Australia? |
^ Yar! The mighty Canuks!

I'm an Australian now apparently! I've been drinking VB, Coldies and having BBQ's all the time! Top 5 right now! tough decision! 1. Coroner - R.I.P. 2. Megadeth - So Far, So Good, So What (Very Underrated!) 3. Anthrax - Persistance Of Time 4. Sepultura - Beneath The Remains 5. Venom - Welcome To Hell (Kinda Thrash) |

Venom - Welcome To Hell (Kinda Thrash)
what do you mean kinda thrash! it started the genre!!! 1. coroner r.i.p 2. slayer reign in blood 3. exodus bonded by blood 4. megadeth peace sells 5. venom black metal |
I'm English....I moved over here like 10 months ago, And yeah! Venom, along with Motorhead and other random bands started the Thrash scene off. Good choice with Exodus there and Peace Sells is an ace album.....might shove it on in a second.
EDIT: You wanna get into Anthrax eh! heres a few songs to get you started sonny. Time Metal Thrashing Mad I'm The Man Strap It On What Doesn't Die I am The Law Caught In A Mosh Got The Time N.F.L. Anti-Social There's a few! if you need anymore, give me a buzz. |
^^ dude i havent heard any anthrax before!!! what are some songs to get me into them?!?!

Already edited my post! haha.

hm.
1. Slayer - Reign In Blood 2. Metallica - Ride the Lighting 3. Cryptopsy - None So Vile 4. Dark Angel - Darkness Descends 5. Testament - The Gathering Edit: Forgot about Nile - In Their Darkened Shrines... that can be number 1.5 har har :p |
Hey! Where are Among the Living and A Skeleton In the Closet in your list?
|
Hey! Where are Among the Living and A Skeleton In the Closet in your list?
haha I love the Double Bass kicking at the start of A Skeleton in the closet! I didn't want to give him the whole Among The Living album though! |
^^ Exactly why I like it! Benante pwns all in terms of double bass!
|
Charlie Benante is by far the best Thrash drummer in my opinion. I love his drumming.....plus he plays Guitar on some of the albums!
|
Muahaha! I now have a partner in my blood-spattered, intestine munching RiBloodiness!
...he hasn't come back since then though >_> |
so get among the living CD then? i cant be screwed downloading so many songs , curse the 56k modem.
im going to bed anyway i gotta get up at about 8 am anyway!!! its 1am now! |
Yeah....Among the Living is the CD to get!
|
Am I the only American Titan?
Anyway, here's my top 5 thrash albums 1. Anthrax - Among the Living 2. Megadeth - Rust in Peace 3. Metallica - And Justice for All 4. Slayer - Reign in Blood 5. Megadeth - So Far, So Good, So what? |
Oh, by the way, Benante is the KING of thrash drumming. In fact he's my favorite drummer. Scott Ian is my favorite Rythym guitarist. Seeing a pattern?
|
hey guys....can, can i join in?
|
if you have heard dark angel 'darkness descends', you can..no other secret intiation ceremony.
and please dont tell anyone you like cold, you'll have to walk around in diapers if you do!! lol,jk ur now a titan ps:i'm new at this,so my approval probably doesnt count.ask jmet |
if you have heard dark angel 'darkness descends', you can

ur now a titan
... first you say he has to have heard DD, then without knowing whether he has heard it or not you let him in. + I think only founding members can let people in... as you said. But not just JMet, Deft or k'! can let people in too. Well I dunno about k'!. But deft and Jmet. :chug: |
In my oooopinion, Jon Allen drums circles around Charlie Benante.
Sadus's aggression can not be matched in the old school thrash field. I'm not much of an Anthrax fan myself... I despise Joey Belladonna, and I just think there's better music out there as well. |
Am I the only American Titan?
Nope. But I think the rest of the Titans are Australian or British |
Am I the only American Titan?
No. I'm American. |
Time
killer song man! if i manage to save $25 without spending it i will buy among the living (even though Time isnt on that album!! :p) |
I've just got a track by a thrash band I'd never heard of before, they're called Sacrifice. The track I've got is called "Soldiers of Misfortune", and it's excellent! All I know about the band is what BNR Metal Pages has told me though. Has anybody here heard/heard of this band? And if so what do you think?
