Gackt - check the first page for why it was made. The 'Lod in the guitar forum, and the other casuals around the site are all imitators :D

It used to be several different threads, which were closed when they reached something sizable. Then Winternmute merged them in an attempt to make the biggest thread on MX I believe. We got to around 18 Casual Threads before the Compendium was made I believe. I've only been posting in it since New Year-ish, and I'm already a right old spam whore now.
