So the other night I was at a local show...it was the second to last band and there was moshing basically all night. I don't really mosh a lot but I really like this one band so I had to mosh.

So it's their last song and they did a "LAST MOSH CALL" shout, so the whole place was moving all night. So they starting building it up and then the singer says, "BOSTON, I WANNA SEE YOU F[size=2]UCK[/size] THIS PLACE UP!"

It was, by far, the best mosh pit I've ever been in...until I heard glass shatter.

I turned around and some dude Nate I sorta know got his head thrown through a stained glass window and he was knocked unconscious. There was blood everywhere and everyone like ran over and kicked the everloving crap out of the guy who did it. Me and like 5 of my friends grabbed Nate and took him to the hospital...he took 20 stitches in his head.

The show got shut down and the venue's closed forever.

I hate morons who ruin perfectly good mosh pits. :evil:

Last I heard the kid who did it had a broken nose, a broken cheek bone, two black eyes, and a broken arm...

Some kid got stabbed the other night at an Up! Scumbag show, and now the venue won't allow punk shows anymore.

Yeah, it was really crappy...I feel bad for Nate. He wasn't even in the pit, he was just in the back talking to his girlfriend when some dude from Lowell (he's in a lame crew or something and supposedly wanted to be wicked hardcore :rolleyes:[size=2])[/size] just ran up and shoved his head through the window...

Ditto. If you don't wanna get hit, don't stand near the pit. It's supposed to be a "violent" place and people on the outskirts are gonna get hit. I do hate, however, when people purposely crowd punch just to be dicks...I keep it POSI. :cool:

Yo gav man that's lame one time there was a tiny mosh pit at a local show I went to and some dude got smoked and he dislocated his arm and the guy that did it to him got beat. It was cool but it must have sucked for the arm guy, he ame back though after they put it back in place and he was chillen.

People can be such assholes. I've never been in a moshpit that crazy, but I've gotten hit by crowd surfers and whatever. Nothing bad.

for real dude. i know down here we have a really violent scene. People go and start hardcore dancing at ska shows just to be dicks and every show usually ends in a huge brawl.

some people from the Boston area were in town and we were at a show talking outside and these dudes were like. "Damn man, you guys down here are ****ing hardcore! i havent seen a pit like this in a long *** time"

i felt proud.

I've only ben to a few shows but I always go into the pit it's cool but I'm tiny so sometimes I get thrown around a lot but it's cool cause my buddy Corey is huge and he makes sure I don't get run over and ****.

Dude I knew exactly what was going down, I was in total control. But it was a hella fuked up control. I did get lost sometimes though with tthe like 8 conversations at once.

Gav: I know what you're saying man, I went to Reggie and the full effect/Alk3/MCR and all the kids sucked at moshing, I was the only one picking up the people who fell so that I was so exhausted by the time Alk3 was on I had to leave the pit and just watch. It was lame. But the older people came in for Alk3 so I assume it was better then.

People starting moshing for this ****ty metlacore band last night. All their songs were palm muted chords and then the cliche clean part in the middle. All these girls with their video cameras were up front for them too. Then when we played they all peaced out.
