I found it on soulseek a month or two ago. Only now was I able to bring myself to listen to it. Quite impressive I must say.

I know, that's why I figured ol' vallely would like it.

Also there's other 'hawt menz' in there that'd he probably like.

May is coming up anyway so I figured I might as well wait for it. Besides I don't like listening to stuff before it comes out.

vallely2004 03-29-2005 03:52 PM

G'dnight y'all, thanks for the pics NPC :thumb: I had a good five minutes with those

Bartender 03-29-2005 04:31 PM

Talking Heads fans/haters: I now have several Talking Heads albums, and I like them all, quite a bit. How many albums do they have? And how many of those are worth owning?

AndreTheHyena 03-29-2005 04:34 PM

The only one I can really get into is Fear of Music, but that's because I grew up with it.

Wow.

Bartender 03-29-2005 04:38 PM
Which albums do you have?
More Songs About Buildings and Food, Talking Heads '77, Fear of Music and Speaking in Tongues.

The only other I know of is Remain in Light, I think, and I seem to have bad luck finding it.

I have Remain in Light, which is the most essential thing they did.

I also have More Songs About Buildings And Food, which is one of those albums it's hard to say anything about - it's all consistently good, but when you're listening to it, nothing sticks out because there's no dynamic between the good bits and the bad bits - there are no bad bits.

If that makes sense.

Iai 03-29-2005 04:39 PM
More Songs About Buildings and Food, Talking Heads '77, Fear of Music and Speaking in Tongues.
Get Remain In Light.

And possibly The Name Of This Band Is Talking Heads. Never heard it in full, but it's meant to be great.

Master Arkam Kannon 03-29-2005 04:39 PM

get their first four albums for sure. after that just pick and choose at your leisure.

Yeah, I think I know what you mean. "When everyone is special, no one will be"-kind of syndrome.

Iai 03-29-2005 04:43 PM

Yeah, that's exactly it.

Yep, RIL is the only other album that you really need from them. Little Creatures is a solid album but nothing that I rave over. It's nice and sweet but that's about it, it doesn't have the edge their earlier albums had.
