By the way, where is that interview taken from?
I'm a big Pantera fan myself, but I'm likely to be one of the only ones here.
I used to be a huge Pantera fan. Obsessed. I still like them quite a bit, but they've slipped away from my tastes as of late

MAthiAS 06-17-2005 03:23 PM

I like Pantera in small doses.

DimebagDarrell 06-17-2005 03:25 PM

Pantera = best band ever

R.I.P. Dime

GraveRobbersINC 06-17-2005 05:04 PM

I like Pantera quite a bit, but I like to not make a big deal about it because of all the people who feel they owe it to society to carry on about how bad it is that dimebag died and how much of an impact it had on them, when in reality have only heard a few songs by them anyway.

Apocalyptic Raids 06-17-2005 10:00 PM

RCA: I don't think I have read that particular interview, there are 3 very good long ones linked to on Dark Angel's Metal-Archives page. One with Eric Meyer, one with Hoglan and one with Jim Durkin.

I don't mind the song Cowboys From Hell, but overall I'm not much of a Pantera fan, although a couple of my friends are/were obsessed with them.

It was taken from Metal-Rules. Most of it is about the new SYL album and them in general though.

DimebagDarrell 06-18-2005 05:12 AM

Well i would of posted some pictures of download festival, anthrax, sabbath and chimaira but they all turned out ****. Anthrax were unbelivable blasting out all the classics: indians, anti-social, caught in a mosh, among the living, i am the law etc. I got destroyed in the pit lol. Black Sabbath sounded very good too Bill Ward is just a great drummer they were all playing **** well.

Apocalyptic Raids 06-18-2005 05:25 AM

I should have gone to see the reunion, they came past me :(

Terrorzone 06-18-2005 10:53 AM

Manowar and Rhapsody tonight.

Excellent song.

I still think Hello From The Gutter kicks *** though.

"HELLO!" "HELLLLO!" "Hello from the gutter!"

FatalEnergy 06-18-2005 10:34 PM

Terrible Certainty has my favorite Kreator song on it. "Behind the Mirror". Too bad they never play anything off that album live anymore. The only thing is the title track and the shorten it

Young, fellow thrashers! I need your assistance.
Which one of you bought the bullet belt, and where did you get it from? I can't remember the website you said you got it from...also, how long did it take to get it?

FatalEnergy 06-19-2005 04:36 PM

I got a bullet belt

http://www.studsandspikes.com/

I took about a week or a week and a half to get it

RavenousMetalist87 06-19-2005 05:14 PM

I need to get mine next month after I have a job XD

Then some camo pants to go with it and I'll be thrashed out...well...I think I would be.

RCA 06-19-2005 05:46 PM

Hello, fellow Razor fan! Didn't you say you had some live Razor footage or live audio tracks? If you did, is there anyway you could send some to me?

Corporal Compendia 06-19-2005 06:50 PM

That bullet belt site is ****ing expensive! Holy ****! I managed to find one elsewhere though.

So, here's the thing about the Razor footage. I was to get a DVD called Razor, Live in Hensall or...something like that. Anyways, the guy ripped me off, so now I have to drive out to Perth, Ontario, and punch him in the face at his crumby flea market stand, which apparently he is at daily. Funny, I've dealt with the guy before and had no problems.
The least I can do is threaten him by email... haha. No straight forward threats though, that can result in arrest... just... hinted threats.

Gah, that sucks. :(

I heard about a week ago that Razor were planning on playing shows after that new album/DVD hits, and all they needed was another band to tour with. Schmier of Destruction heard about this too, and Destruction ***MIGHT*** do a little tour with Razor. I don't know about this for sure, I just was part of this conversation on the Destruction forums and Schmier said "Hmm, good idea."

Corporal Compendia 06-20-2005 06:19 PM

One of us should email Bob Reid and see what exactly is happening these days with Razor. I heard Dave Carlo's hand/wrist is much better now... but uh, we'll see what Bobby has to say.

http://www.bobnoxiousrock.com
I'm sure there's an email address in there somewhere.

RCA 06-20-2005 06:35 PM

Both of us should email him, just in case one of our sent messages gets, you know, eaten by internet zombies.

Corporal Compendia 06-20-2005 06:39 PM

Yeah, that's been getting on my nerves lately... you're right, we'll both do it.

RCA 06-20-2005 06:55 PM

Done. :)

I emailed both Bob Reid and Rob Mills.

EDIT: I'm joining your ranks Corporal; my avatar takes way too long to load on my browser. No more avy for me. :chug:

RCA 06-21-2005 11:46 AM

Wow, no posts since yesterday. :(

I d/l the new Nuclear Assault. It's a solid album, but it's nowhere near Game Over or Survive.

Freezing Moon 06-21-2005 11:59 AM

I've only heard Survive, and I really like it.

metal-militia 06-21-2005 12:42 PM

Nuclear Assault have some great stuff, but them seem to have some filler on a lot of their albums.

RCA 06-21-2005 01:59 PM

Check out my new thread!

RavenousMetalist87 06-21-2005 02:06 PM

I'm growing impatient. I want next week to be here.
Check out my new thread!
Good work RCA, Razor need some recognition. :)

What other bands do you have in mind for thrash heroes? If you never need any help getting info about bands don't hesitate to ask me or any other of the titans. :thumb:

RCA 06-21-2005 03:24 PM

Oh definitely! In fact, I'll use this thread for recommendations for my next issue, and stuff you'd like to see in the thread.

MAthiAS 06-21-2005 07:28 PM

What's some good technical thrash besides Coroner?

Terrorzone 06-21-2005 07:34 PM

Watchtower, Sadus and Atheist (Piece of Time anyway).

RCA 06-21-2005 10:04 PM
What's some good technical thrash besides Coroner?
Did you check out Toxik?
