Actually I haven't smoked weed (actively) for at least 8 months and I've never been much of a stoner anyway but I know drinking and smoking really screws you up.

Just drink.

I'm bad at alchohol.

You need to build up a tolerance, know your limits, eat beforehand and only get really wasted every few months or so.

1. I have no tolerance
2. I don't know my limits at all, last time I got wasted probably should've turned into a hospital visit
3. I've got that down, not on purpose though. I'm just usually hungry.
4. I haven't even drank in months because of number 2.

5. I don't think I've developed much of a taste for alchohol yet anyway.

Working out your limits, building a tolerance and getting a taste for it takes time. Start off on sweet stuff like cider (I think you call it hard cider) and move on to lager and ales. Spirits are only good for getting smashed out of your skull.

Make some home brew, drink that for a while then go back to normal beer and it will taste like lolly water. Mmk. If you want the harder stuff start on some of the vodka the russians drink that is like 80%.
