My band teacher is the only one I despise.

Atleast one out of every 5 days a week, we don't play.

The first 30 minutes of EVERY class, he sits in his office, door shut, drinking coffee.

He yells at me for silly grudges against my family.

He's got horrible selection with what we play (when we do!).

He constantly lies to our schools marching band (about stuff like funding and placing.)

He led the music department to believe an anonymous donor was giving the school 6 million dollars. My parents working for the newspaper, I knew this was fake. Turns out some guy was just playing a joke on us.

Well, half the days he walks into the room 30 minutes late. If we have a holiday or something that makes a 3 day weekend, he'll stay home 'sick' so it can be 4 days.

I think its cause they think there masters at all instruments, While
teacher little turds like us. And its not hard to find a cocky musician
who plays on instrument.

My band director makes us put our heads on our desks for the first
10 minutes. Then he makes us move the desks, And get the music
stands, Then we play for the last 15 minutes.

3 times a week.

Marching band was good for me. I lost weight. That's about it. Made a few friends too, I guess.

I tried mounting my 12'' tom on the tom mount instead of the snare stand.

0 resonance. It sounds 100% horrid.

Snare stand = positioning + better sound.
Tom mount = too high, too far in the center, crap sound.

im fed up with my kit atm...

im rearranging it twice a week, cos i play a barker style setup on weekends and a full 5pc double bass setup on weekdays

damn 2 bands

I like my tom mount alot more than my snare stand!

I like when he shows me and the other percussionist(sp?) crap on the
