Whoa, what the hell? My life is certainly not "thrown upside down", don't toss words into my mouth. I can get on fine without her, but I still have feelings for her, and have since I broke up with her. I tried once to mend things, and she blew me off because she was still pissed at me, and was trying to make me jealous, which is why she even got this new boy of hers. I am not sure I would like to be back together with her. It would be nice, but my gut is telling me it's a bad idea.

I doubt she meant it like that. :-/

I hate to say this, but that's right. One of my closest friends seems to have had less and less time for me since she got with her boyfriend and went of to University... still, that's pretty self explanatory really. And it's not like I've made much of an effort to talk to her either. I'm just letting things run their course, and unfortunately that doesn't always achieve the best ending.

It isn't another guy I don't think, might be it partially, but I guess since she had just gotten out of a relationship and she knows that I like her (yea I like her, but its a stupid crush nothing serious so its kinda stupid) but I guess it kinda scared her, but we are talking more now and are hoping the more we talk again, the more natural it will feel. It feels awkward talking to her too. IDK why.

So thursday (the first day of the week that she works- I usually go see her and keep her company) I decided to wait until later to go down there to make her think I wasn't coming.

Apparently, it worked because she called me up around seven-
"Hey, what are you doing?"
"Riding around town."
"Are you coming down here tonight?"
"I don't know..."
"Pleeeeaaaase?"

So I said ok and wasted about 30 minutes more before I showed up. She gets all over me. We flirt and talk most of the night because it was pretty slow. I really like this girl. She more or less tells me outright that she likes me too. (something about "a girl doesn't go on a second date with a boy after his car breaks down on the first date unless she really likes him and wants to be around him")

Friday night, I didn't know she'd be working but I usually go down there on the weekends because I'm friends with the other barristas, too. She was, and we talked a little bit. We did the whole sitting close thing for a few minutes before it got busy. The more the night went on, the less attention I was getting, until eventually- "You know, when school starts, I'm not even going to know you exist."

The safety's off, the barrel is loaded, and my game was just shot down. Eugh.
