How do you become a Mod

I don't know if everyone is on vacation or what, but the "get over yourselves" thread has been open for a good 12 hours. It was there before I went to bed and is still open.

I think we should make a motion to get Med local'd, or super'd so he can do R&M and A&I.

Either that or Riva gets promoted. I think they'll be more willing to give it to Med though since he Mods Sputnik already.

I wrote that up for Ken's announcement, so hopefully all the idiots wake up one day and read it. (Unlikely as that may be...)

Yeah, I really don't want to be like this, because I'm a nice guy, but it is getting out of hand. The front page is full of Official threads and illegal threads that keep getting bumped with the same old crap, over and over again.

Yes, but if someone makes a introduction to rap thread, it's polite to respect their musical tastes. Besides, a lot of people are open to different genres here in R&M. My guess is you just got into metal, and are really keen on it. Which is great, it's a brilliant genre (and my favourite). However, not everyone is a carbon copy of you, so cut people some slack.

Different timezones. Usually, my primetime is the graveyard shift for North America and early morning for Europe.

Classic Rock band
Metal band
Guitarist
Bassist
Favourite song
Favourite album

That leaves only drummers, keyboardists (though GurS ran that in P&K, I think) and frontmen.

I'm not sure if the mods will like too many more competitions in the future. Though in another year or so I might re-run the albums comp.
