WhoDidTheElf 05-05-2005 12:42 PM

neal_672 05-05-2005 12:44 PM

Sitting here while being bored at school.

It's actually lunch time, right now, but, seeing as I never eat, there's no point in sitting down at a table, so I just come onto the computer and go on MX.

ElKapitan 05-05-2005 01:08 PM

i don't really think everyone wants this to degenerate into a big political debate but i'll briefly outline my reasons for voting Lib Dem:

1) Against the war for the reasons Blair gave
2) Against student top up fees (i'm a student)
3) They'll never get in so i can moan about whoever else does get in cos i exercised my right to vote and didn't elect the new government
4) I like the colour yellow :)

black_star 05-05-2005 01:09 PM

Hey mx, again.

Hey arson. lunch time ?

mister_tee 05-05-2005 01:12 PM

Lib Dem, good call. They'd raise taxes, but mainly for the benefit of us students :thumb: Lots of people say it's a wasted vote on them, but if everyone always thinks that then of course it's going to be.

But the real reason is Charles Kennedy going on Have I got news for you and kicking arse. Twice.

i think blair lied
but he did the right thing
now the same just needs to be done for sudan and zimbabwe

Pluperfect_Arson 05-05-2005 01:13 PM
Hey mx, again.

Yep. :)

ElKapitan 05-05-2005 01:15 PM

i think the war was necessary in the long run, but only because of oil and the capitalist worlds dependancy upon it, not for all the bullshit reasons Blair gave

he is?
what a legend
i love that show
have you noticed how conservatives will cut taxes but increase spending
they must have some real genius as their shadow chancellor

Smart man ;)

ElKapitan 05-05-2005 01:18 PM

i don't think they said they'd cut taxes, just not increase them
and they'll cut spending in certain sectors to increase it in others (not sure of details)

mister_tee 05-05-2005 01:18 PM

He was a guest presenter on one of them... He **** near killed me with his comeback to Ian Hislop, "Doesn't bother me. I never read your lousy publication anyway." Said with so much disdain

Pluperfect_Arson 05-05-2005 01:19 PM
Smart man ;)
I know.

It's what I do every day. :p

ElKapitan 05-05-2005 01:20 PM

Ian Hislop annoys me sometimes, he can be a really ignorant, arrogant twat at times

Spaceman Spiff 05-05-2005 01:22 PM

Man... chocolate chip cookies pwn all.

mister_tee 05-05-2005 01:22 PM

I don't know about that, but he does come off as being a bit snide. And he looks like an overweight stoat...

He's right up there I reckon. But Paul Merton's clearly the king in my book. He's just so quick! Or possibly Boris Johnson, because he clearly has no idea what day of the week it is.

ElKapitan 05-05-2005 01:26 PM

Boris was hilarious, he's such a dopey twat
