Hello, everyone.

good rats 05-04-2005 06:56 PM

How is everyone doing?

Pluperfect_Arson 05-04-2005 06:58 PM

I'm doing alright.

I might hop in the shower soon.

How about you?

Spaceman Spiff 05-04-2005 07:08 PM

I feel shitty, I wish we had a trained psychologist on these boards, something is definately not right with me, I've been noticing it for the last 6 months or so.
Seriously... just, fuck.

If it turns out I'm manic depressive/bipolar, that would be messed up; I actually have a friend who is.

PaulSimonon 05-04-2005 07:51 PM

I thought we already had our monthly spamming noob?! AHHH!!!

Spaceman Spiff 05-04-2005 08:56 PM

I'm trying to learn Birdland, it seems that it's not as hard as it sounds... well, I'm not even passed the harmonics at the start yet, but it's not as hard as I previously thought.

My only problem right now is finding where the 36th and 38th frets would be.

Noushi 05-04-2005 09:28 PM

Hullo everyone.

Are those harmonics over your pick-ups Spiff?

Spaceman Spiff 05-04-2005 09:34 PM

They're around the pickups.

I believe it's pinched harmonics though, so the 12 is fretted and the harmonic is done 2 octaves up where the 36th fret would be. Same thing with the 14 and the harmonic where the 38th fret would be.

Fernandes Power 05-04-2005 09:41 PM
whats that
Its the msn thing for high-five.

Noushi 05-04-2005 09:41 PM

Oh.... cool. Those frets would be pretty tiny...

I<3myOLPmm2 05-04-2005 09:44 PM

i would tell you

but i only have 22

/cry

sixxbassist90 05-04-2005 09:46 PM

could someone explain the harmonic and the double thump technique, im not clear on that.

Spaceman Spiff 05-04-2005 09:48 PM

The fretboard doesn't go that long, you just need to figure out where they would be so that you can hit the harmonics.

good rats 05-04-2005 09:49 PM

Gday all.
