But erm Hitchikers Guide To The Galaxy even though it is apparently incredibly weak compared to the amazingness of the books :thumb:

Oh dammit. I was hoping it was going to be good, I'm planning on seeing it on friday with my usual movie crew.

It looks a good film in its own right. Just don't try comparing it to the books, radio, or even old TV series.

Ah every review i've read says it's awful. For a start Ford Prefect is a black american apparently, which is as far from the original character as possible.... Not being racist there but it's not how he described in teh book so he shouldn't be like it...

Yeah but the point is if you've read the book it should stand up to the quality of the book or it's bound to be a disappointment....

Yes but Daredevil DID suck. But i'm a true believer of following the book, which they haven't done with Hitchikers. It'll only disappoint...
