True dat!
Oceano is watermarked and the forums are amazing a lot of cool HTN people over there
What happens if I listen to the watermarked one? I know nothing of this! |
i heard that if an album is watermarked then they can trace who downloaded it and where they got it from
|
Hahaha, I cannot believe people actually like Oceano. That band sucked with their original line-up, and they still suck now.
Sucks they don't have the herpes ridden singer anymore, do they still have the negro? |
the new carnifex is boring as hell, dead in my arms was WAY better imo
GRAVES OF VALOR the famine <3
oh dear God, no |

Whatever band sucks, my one friend from War3 is from their area, said their original singer was the biggest scumbag he's ever met.
Pretty much the only reason I've known about them for so long (way too long). Best band out of that scene is For Those Who Died Sacred... and they're not that good. |
^^Thanks 4 Golgotha too. It is damn good.^^
Where'd they go wrong with Horror I've heard it's poo. |
The singer on that album is terrible.
Some of the riffs are good, but there's a lot of really bad breakdowns and stolen riffs. |
I think that there's too many deathcore bands that play only breakdowns and it pretty much gives the genre a lame rep. Don't get me wrong, I totally dig breakdowns, but bands like Iwrestledabearonce just ruin it for the artists that actually have talent in this genre. Anyway, deathcore can have some really poweful moments and I enjoy a few deathcore bands myself, but it's quite the challenge to find a band that I enjoy completely( I'm really picky when it comes to music). For instance, Carnifex, they say they're not deathcore and get pissed if you assume they are, but their older stuff like Slit Wrist Savior or Love Lies In Ashes is a gleaming example of deathcore. The whole album Dead In My Arms is deathcore, they even had a shirt that said SoCal Deathcore. I'm straying off topic here, Carnifex is one of the few bands I think is worthy of buying one of their albums. I personally own The Diseased and the Poisoned, but I'm not gunna lie, I wasn't nearly as impressed as I was with Whitechapels new album, This Is Exile. I don't know if the Knoxville, TN boys are considered deathcore or technical death metal or what, but of all the crap I just typed, if there's one thing I want you people to do is at least check a few songs out by them. Like maybe Eternal Refuge, or The Somatic Defilement (from their first album of the same name) which is one of my favs still to this day.
GOV's playing 15 minutes from my parents house and my appt. (like IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TRIP BETWEEN THE TWO), at my favorite local venue in May. Best believe I'm'a smoke them niggaz up. Pics of how ghetto this venue is (all of the possible angles of the stage I could find from local shows): Last one = my nigga Don. Yeah homies, barred up windows. A-TOWN REPRESENT. |
So hard.
|
That venue looks kinda cool, I'd love to see a (good) band in a place like that.
|
reppin dat dipset
|
Yeah, the Sterling is legit. Most bands play at Croc Rock (down the street, bigger, gayer venue), but all of the badass metal and grind bands (Truculence, Maruta, Phobia, Exodus, Malignancy, 3 Inches Of Blood, Watch Them Die, etc.) hit up the Sterling when they come to Allentown.
|
Phobia rules.
IN GRIND WE CRUST \o |
Best live show ever.

"Do you like metal?"
"Only if it's heavy." |
Unrelated, but my favorite clips used in songs:
"What's speed metal? A bunch of idiots playing as fast as they can?" "What's God?" "Well, you know, when you want something really bad and you close your eyes and you wish for it? God's the guy that ignores you." |
"What was that story you were telling us the other day, bro?"
"Well dude, so I was raping this chick right? And I was like, you're body is so ****ing hot. BUT YOUR FACE IS SO ****ING UGLY" "UUURRRRRRGHHHHHH" |
"Well dude, so I was raping this chick right? And I was like, you're body is so ****ing hot. BUT YOUR FACE IS SO ****ING UGLY"
HAHA i love that one. Anything played before a breakdown in oldoldold Knights of The Abyss is crucial soundclip stuff. |
I like at the beginning of that one Suicide Silence song where they use that Family Guy clip.
"Tom Hanks, that's it, aw funny guy, Tom Hanks. Everything he says is a stitch." "I have AIDs." "HAHAHAHA" |
