I think I'll be going for the self-titled one next...But, love me that new Candlemass album. I'm gunna listen to them all again, but I really think I might be favoring the Grey Islands. witchfinder general is as straight as you can get

the vocals kind of sounded odd to me at first but then i realized how awesome they were. i only have Death Penalty but im getting their other stuff soon

and ashes against the grain is actually the least 'doomy' of agallochs material. the mantle has alot more aspects of doom in it. ashes against the grain is more 'folky' post metal than anything.
