That set list looked great.

Thanks a bunch ghettoeddo.

kurrpt 03-29-2006 02:18 PM

it was definitely a good show, but i REALLY wanted them to play Erotomania, YTSE Jam, Glass Prison, or These Walls

Last time i saw them, they did play Glass prison, but none of the others. Fukking bastards..

GenuineImitation 03-29-2006 02:21 PM

2 more painful days of school and then paradise. Saturday is going to be great. I get to hear back from the last 3 Universities to see if Im accepted or not (I already got into my second choice, so Im pretty happy.), DT concert and April fools day.

I just hope the college admissions office and/or DT dont decide to play an april fools joke on me. If DT doesnt show up, I'll kill some people.

Lord Abortion 03-29-2006 02:32 PM

I mean, I would almost be glad, that I missed them if on the next tour they played Hollow years and surrounded.

It would make the first time I see them the special-est show ever.

kurrpt 03-29-2006 02:33 PM

they have a different set list every show this tour...

where you seeing it, madison square>

Radio City Music Hall. 7th row on Myung's side.

Im going to get there early and buy a t-shirt, poster and any other DT products. Im going to try to get some stuff signed after the show. What is the best way to approach this?

temporary 03-29-2006 02:41 PM
damn, i was there. Where did you sit?

and also, that metallica part they played was enter sandman, not wherever i may roam
You sure? It sounded like Wherever I May Roam, although I haven't listened to The Black Album in ages, so I wouldn't know. I also forgot to mention that they play Raise the Knife, which was really amazing. I don't understand why it wasn't on FII. I sat a ways back on the floor seating. How 'bout you?

not sure man. My pops was ALL about getting out as soon as they took their bow....

temporary : yea man, didnt you notice the lightning on the screens when they played that. I was wondering WHY they had that, then the peices seem to fit into place. We were on the far left, look at the stage. Row MM. Its about 17 rows back

GenuineImitation 03-29-2006 03:16 PM

Did they check for cameras?

temporary 03-29-2006 03:21 PM
Did they check for cameras?
They didn't check me, and lots of people around me were taking photos.

Since my show is being filmed do you think they would confiscate it? I dont want to bring it to have it taken away.

GenuineImitation 03-29-2006 03:32 PM

I think I may borrow my sister's camera phone. Im in the 7th row, so the quality should be decent at least.

kurrpt 03-29-2006 03:56 PM

yea definitely. My girl SAID she was gonna let me use her camera/video phone

BULLSH!T

GenuineImitation 03-29-2006 03:56 PM

I'll try to remember to make the poster with all the regulars names on it. NY is pretty liberal, but I wonder what people would think if I wrote Lord Abortion on a giant sign.

I was accepted to:

SUNY (State University of New York) Stony Brook
SUNY New Paltz
SUNY Binghamton
Rutgers
Hofstra

Will hear back from this weekend:

New York University
Boston University
George Washington University
Villanova University

What does the 20th anniversary t-shirt llok like? I want to get that one and either a ToT or I&W shirt if they have them.

I still can't believe I missed DT in the UK...

:(.

Jev 03-30-2006 08:33 AM

The only way you can redeem yourself is to hang yourself. Or see them next time.

Element of LED 435 03-30-2006 09:21 AM

last nite was crazy im not aware of the whole playlist but they played glass prison, pull me under, (metropolis as their encore), and a drum solo with the drummer from shadows fall which was pure craziness with drum parts from moby dick, hot for teacher, good times bad times, YYZ, and a whole buncha other crazy stuff. Overall it lasted 3 hours which i was amazed by

Amazing set list. I really want to see DT. Do the length of the shows seem a bit excessive long when you see thhem, or does it add more amazingness?

Believe me, it only adds to it. Not once do I even imagin that it was stretching on a bit. That setlist does sound good, but I'm glad I got the one I did.

kurrpt 03-30-2006 02:24 PM

it seemed pretty long for me man. They played for like 3 hours almost. Thats a long time for one band, even if they have a bazillion albums
