Heh, I do that all the time. The fact I don't have a door makes it worse for my family but I don't care :D
Why don't u have a door. And isn't a bit hard to get some privacy without a door.

That's strange it works for me.
it's to make them buy japanese copies of albums, rather than cheaper ones from China / Thailand which don't have the bonus tracks. i agree it's annoying though.

anyway, i listened to RiP all the way through in my room the other night, really loud. i think i annoyed the rest of my family, but it's such an awesome album, especially Hangar 18 and Tornado of Souls.
I hope you have the original release of RiP, i hate the vocals on Tornado of Souls on the re-release. Still one of their best though.

Apocalyptic Raids 12-15-2005 06:07 PM

Yeah, the original RIP is the way to go.

gillygan 12-15-2005 07:49 PM

It's like an hour+ of the before footage, during and after footage of a Megadeth concert. I think it's one of those home videos that are impossible to find.

gillygan 12-15-2005 10:11 PM

My favorite moments in megadeth song are Hangar 18 at 2:49, when the song switches over, thats so effin amazing. Also at 3:50 in rust in peice, it stop and then at 3:56 it comes back in with the same styled riff. :naughty:

The whole song kicks major ass.
About who's my fav. Megadeth guitar player, it is Poland; my reasons, practically the whole Peace Sells album.
I know Marty is way(x100) better than Poland, but i just like Poland more.

gillygan 12-15-2005 11:06 PM

Marty picks so weird the drummer(forgot his name) looks like he uses marching sticks.

Yeah, I love Poland. The solo at the start of Good mourning/Black friday is fucking awesome!

I thought this was a pretty cool video of Megadeth. It's sort of a mini documentary.

Hey thanks for your imput

Apocalyptic Raids 12-16-2005 01:52 AM

F5 isn't really that new. He has had that going for a couple of years now.

My room is seriously tiny. Without a door I have a little bit more room and yes it is hard to get some privacy.

Quote from metal hammer mag" No really? You used to be in Metallica? You ? Dave Mustain? Well, you never mentioned it! I would have thought you would have mentioned that, Dave. Oh, you did. 700,000 times"

tight but slightly true

Hey did you know that Mustain wasnt in top 100 guitarist of all time but kurk cobain was num 13. That should of been mustain place.

Doctor Night 12-16-2005 06:13 AM

Is 'Rust in Peace' a good Album?

Apocalyptic Raids 12-16-2005 06:15 AM

Rust In Peace is my favourite metal album ever. Highly recommended.
Is 'Rust in Peace' a good Album?
Amazing Album. Try to get your hands on the original version though (ebay?). The vocals on the re-issue they put out a few years ago are horrible.

Mustaine wasn't on that either. Yeah and no. 1 was like Jimi Hendrix or something. I mean Hendrix is good but there are lots better than him. Friedman wasn't on the list and i think Petrucci wasn;t on their. Jack White from the freakin' WHITE STRIPES is on their.

stupid rolling stones...

Quickdrop 12-16-2005 09:49 AM

No Petrucci, Vai, or Mustaine. I think Tom Morello is worthy of being top 100 too. Marty should be also.

I agree, Hendrix shouldnt be #1, if im not mistake he couldnt even read music? What a stupid list. My mother knows more about guitar than whoever put that list together.

>>>EDIT: nvm, tom morello is number 26, missed it the first time lol.

gillygan 12-16-2005 09:52 AM

THey put johnny ramone as number 16:lol: and eddie van halen as number 95 or somthin er other. That was a joke.

Quickdrop 12-16-2005 09:55 AM

^it truely was.

if kurt cobain was number 12, David Ellefson should be #1 ;)

Aw3someman 12-16-2005 10:33 AM

Angus young is like 96. sry bout that double post earlier i was pissed off at my comp. being slow and pressed the submit button a couple times.

Six Foot Revolver 12-16-2005 11:34 AM

I don't see what you are all getting piped up about. It is a list compiled for a mainstream audience and the purpose of writing it was to entertain. Most people reading Rolling Stone probably don't care about Mustaine or Petrucci. You should never really care what any list says because they are normally bullshit.

But it is bullshit thats why its erritating to me.
That is such a joke =/
That's the way it always is. Kirk is recognisable and most people think Smells Like Teen Spirit is a crazy riff. If it was filled with Mustaine, Vai and Petrucci, the readers wouldn't know who the fuck they were.
