And then, 5 posts to hit the big 5. Yeah.

Whereas I think I'm off for a sleep soon. I'm very sleepy.

Pazz 02-01-2006 07:14 PM

I'm way to hyper to sleep. I'm really tired though because I woke up at 7:00 for my final exam.

Semester 1 is over:cool:

I went around town for 7 hours today with a huge group of people. We went and got Chinese for lunch, went to the skatepark, then went and played some pool, and then we went to the coffee place and got cookies. It was a really fun day.:D

billiejoe84 02-01-2006 07:18 PM

Sounds ace. I love wandering about in big groups.

Whereas I have only had a good evening. Two guys from my band came round and we started recording stuff for our demo. We have 3 songs down in drum form, with one of those fully done except for vocals. I can't wait to hear the finished product.

Pazz 02-01-2006 07:24 PM

Sounds good, I hope to hear these when their done.

billiejoe84 02-01-2006 07:26 PM

Sir, I doubt I'll give anyone on here much choice on whether they hear them or not. I've already whored my live recording around a lot, and I expect the demos will be the same.

The one we have so far has a definite Reel Big Fish vibe going on. Yeah.

Anyway, I'm nearly falling asleep now. Bed is calling... Night.

Pazz 02-01-2006 07:32 PM

Alright, well whore them anyways, I'm really interested.

Night.

I hope someone else comes on so I can talk to them and get my 5,000th post.

Gnarmageddon 02-01-2006 07:37 PM

Happy early 5k Matt.

First milestone. :chug:

Pazz 02-01-2006 07:38 PM

Woo! Hey Spence.

OMG 5,000th post, I feel so special!:D

I can't wait until 10k. I think by summer time I should have it.

/is left alone

/decides to call it a night

Night PP!

Permanent Solution 02-01-2006 07:56 PM

Night and congrats Matt.

I just got out of class :-\

NP: Riverside - The Same River

DJ Ducksauce 02-01-2006 08:19 PM

Congrats Matt.

Night too.

How was class Vince?

Permanent Solution 02-01-2006 08:22 PM

Eh, long. I'm tired because I didn't sleep today in class for once :-\

In other news...I have no idea what I'm getting Gaby for V-day and it's lame :(

DJ Ducksauce 02-01-2006 08:33 PM

No sleeping in class? That's unheard of.

How about chocolate? Everybody love chocolate. Even me.

Permanent Solution 02-01-2006 08:36 PM

Well...I slept in Econ. But I didn't sleep during my 3 hour stretch of classes.

Eh, chocolate/flowers are impersonal and overdone. I'm kinda trying to make it thoughtful because it's like "Hey, I know we're having some small issues right now, so here's a gift I gave absolutely no thought to. Enjoy!"

DJ Ducksauce 02-01-2006 08:42 PM

oic, no cute teddy bears either then huh?

Permanent Solution 02-01-2006 08:47 PM

Eh...that's better than any ideas I have, but I'd prefer something with more meaning heh.

I know what I want and at the same time I have no idea heh :(

DJ Ducksauce 02-01-2006 08:53 PM

I'm pretty bad with choosing presents for people. Which is why I'd normally just get someone a gift certificate.

Any CD she might want?

I dunno.

cbmartinez 02-01-2006 08:53 PM

New strings sound soooooo good.

DJ Ducksauce 02-01-2006 08:57 PM

Yeah, I don't like restringing though. I only restring one at a time because I'm lazy. :p

I thought about getting her a Panda CD, but imports are hella expensive :( She told me to ask her mom so I'll probably try that, and hope for the best. Thing is, if I got her a gift certificate that'd be even worse than like flowers or chocolate hehe.

Chris: Eh, at first they're kinda annoying just because you're used to the old ones, and they're too tight. A few days after is best. Especially if you cleaned the board too.

Justin: That's bad for your neck.

NP: Thrice - T&C (First Impressions version)

DJ Ducksauce 02-01-2006 09:04 PM

Where do you have to import Panda from? I thought they were in Ca.?

Permanent Solution 02-01-2006 09:06 PM

No, lol, they're a Mex. band.

DJ Ducksauce 02-01-2006 09:19 PM

oic. I thought it said something about California in their myspace. Maybe Little California then.

Is it really bad for the neck?

Oh well, its just my squier. :p

Permanent Solution 02-01-2006 09:22 PM

Hmm, no, definitely Mexicans hehe. They don't look it much though.

Yeah, because new strings have more tension so the tension is off balance.

Ew, get a better guitar.

DJ Ducksauce 02-01-2006 09:29 PM

/needs about $1000 then

/+$2000 for a computer too

CommieCanada 02-01-2006 09:31 PM
.Andy what brought about this sudden change of heart?
Permanent Solution 02-01-2006 09:31 PM

$1000 guitar? Are you getting a custom? :-\ I have 3 guitars and spent probably $500 on all combined.

The computer will be $1000 though, get a job hippy.
I like that Silverstein song :(

He didn't do that bad of a job, but he can't scream much like the actual singer.

The "I'm too hardcore for oyu guys" thing was mad lame though.
his screams were WEIRD, his singing wasnt bad, but for such an easy song he still messed it up

he was a douche anyway

ColdFire 02-01-2006 09:37 PM

he was a douche anyway
His singing was bad. He had good intonation the first couple lines but then drops a qurter step and lost his pitch.

DJ Ducksauce 02-01-2006 09:37 PM

Night Ric.

Vince: I dunno. I was thinking of a Gibson, but I don't have teh moolah. What do you recommend?

For the computer, I'm going to customize it if I get the chance. Good quality parts. Gaming rig maybe. Newegg parts of course.
