But nice projector :) :thumb:
Ya, I'm just a lil limited on 20' wall choices haha... the door is 8'+ back from the wall though, it opens to a smaller hallway wich goes to the garage or kitchen area. I'm getting the large classic ScarFace poster with bob sportin the coked out tux and m16 that says 'Make way for the bad guy' on the bottom in a nice frame above that lil hallway there on the wall. Haha ya from my sisters room, i'm redoin a lot of hte house so some furniture is moved about just to sit in places... don't normally keep the extension ladder there either haha i'm thinkin of makin some of hte lights colored/+add more/making the track longer. they are on a dimmer too already. |
2 hours and 20 minutes till i pick up the beast.

Few days before I find out whether or not i'm getting another gorgeous cymbal.

My new double bed should be here before the 14th of january.
My new rugby boots should be here within the next few days. My new 21mm studs for my boots should either be here tommorow or the next day. And my new dvd arrived yesterday :D |

Rhythmic Illusions dvd is pretty cool BB!
As if you got off school! I went to Georgia last year, then down the east coast to FL |
Started listening to Linkin Park again, especially the Reanimation album. Really liking some of the drumming on there, it's pretty heavy and fun. I miss my kit :(
Those ddrums are actually better than all of the other ones that i've seen.
Hey drummguy, guitar center had a kit setup with all k hybrids and a 6 piece DW drums. You would have loved it.
http://www.ddrum.com/usacustom_gallery.htm Custom shop bitches... |

How can i count sextuplets effectively at high speeds without losing myself?
|
1 tu tu and tu tu?
Or just learn how to do it in natural feel. |
I count one-trip-let, two hits per syllabel.
|
I tried the 1 tu tu and tu tu method and its quite a mouthfull for me!
|
i use the triplet method but when you get into higher tempos or 16th not triplets (or 8th note sextuplets), you start getting lost.
|
Im trying to count sextuplets out loud at 80bpm. Im trying to find the best method?
*scrathes chin* |
1 tu tu & tu tu
Is how i would count (i don't have to count cos most of the time i can tell by natural feel) when doing 16th note triplets or 8th note sextuplets. |

Very true. But then, by the time you're playing at higher tempos, you should really know by feel. Which I suck at :thumb: |
Im trying to count sextuplets out loud at 80bpm. Im trying to find the best method?
*scrathes chin*
The Tu Tu system. 1 Tu Tu 2 Tu Tu 3 Tu Tu, etc for 8th note triplets. 1 tu tu + tu tu 2 tu tu + tu tu 3 tu tu + tu tu 4 etc for 16th note triplets. It's Tu, like Tug. Super fast, very stacato, easy to say and no confusion with 4 part counting. Gah Maniac beat me... good call! |
I remembered you mentioning that one to me before jo and i tried it for a good 10 mins tonight and i just couldnt get it going.
The best one ive got so far is.........1+2+3+1+2+3+1+2+3+. |
Heh, maniac beat you, but stole it off you :p
I'd give you rep for such a good system, but i already love you to much :( :) Another system for 8th notes is: 1+a2+a3+a4+a |

did you hear the thing they did with jay-z? |
I tried the 1 tu tu and tu tu method and its quite a mouthfull for me!
Any time you are going to have to speak 6 vocal noises per beat at 80bpm it's going to be a mouth full!! I can barely count 16th triplets at 80. It's so impractical though. NOT Recommend for counting outloud. It becomes a hinderence more then a help. You gotta establish the feel internally. Work with things at a slower tempo if you still need to count them. Or even count two part, and just think about the triplet notes passing by. You know if you count 1 + 2 + 3 +, that each is representive of a triplet. And I bet you can play a triplet value is without needing count it out right? |
