he used to have a different name, i dont remember what it was though.

it was maelstrom99. It was long and complicted and filled weith numbers so i changed it to my middle name.

anyone on mx own a bubinga kit? i've always been intrigued by them, but never played one.. i know that john tempesta loves them more than anything..?

i have one, and two bubinga snares.

Tama is also big on bubinga, i think it was in drum, bubinga is just such a good sounding wood and easy to work with and it looks really nice or something which is the reason for why they have it in most of their drums.

where would it sit in the wood spectrum? somewhere near maple i'd guess..?

man, i was practicing my rudiments, and i chucked all over the carpet. :lol: no warning or anything, it just came flying up my throat and out my mouth in a little ball shape. i hate when that happens, so i'll tell you all a story about it.

i get motion sickness on occasion, and when i do, it hits me bad. i'll be in a car, and it'll hit me, and at that point, if i'm not looking at the lines on the road, my head just starts spinning. now usually it doesn't happen all that often, but occasionally it'll catch me. well i was at the carnival in the city a year ago, and i went on the gravitron (you guys have probably all been on one of these, it spins around and sucks you to the walls) for the 3rd time that day. 10 seconds into it, i feel my head start to spin. i know this is a bad thing to be happening, so i try to just lay back and wait for it to finish. as we're walking out finally, i start getting really light-headed. my friend asks me what's wrong, and as i open my mouth to speak, a big ball of vomit comes flying out, and lands right on his arm, totally covering it from shoulder to hand. :lol: after that, i was good.

that's my amazing story. enjoy.

haha probably. but i am the best drummer in the world so it shouldnt matter, haha.. actually, on a slightly serious note im getting really disheartened cause im so busy with work i dont get to play much, and i've "plateau-ed". i haven't been improving really except for my brushwork/traditional grip technique, because it too late when i get home.. i hate it! someone solve my problem..

I think it's awesome how snake is old. But he actually isn't old at all, Liquid says in MGS2 that because of their genetic clone structure they age faster. I mean, MGS4 is only some 10 years after Big Shell, and he looks atleast 20 years older since that.

That is actually pretty cool... Nike and Adidas have a bad reputation as far as I'm concerned.

Metal gear 3 was awesome but the MGS series gets boring because they're all similar. Sons of liberty was basically identical to twin snakes.

Has anyone got every in-game camo and face paint yet? Im missing one as far as i know.

Hi, my name's Aaron and I've come here because I have a drinking problem... not really, but I am a fifteen-year-old drummer from Florida who's been playing for two years. Right now I'm in a full-time ska band and once in a while I'll get together with some guys and play some jazz/funk jam.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I almost forgot, some of my favorite bands/musicians are: phish, operation ivy, thelonius monk, streetlight manifesto, buddy rich, and bob marley.
