Pretty much, yeah.

I know!!!!!

I was listening to Asmodeus today and I was wishing they'd tune their guitars to F so it would be ultra brutal and gr1m.

I just think it's cute that someone has to point out that most "devil worshipping" bands are using "Satan" in the context of the Bible, as if you don't already know this.

Yes. We all know.

Hail Satan.
Agreed 100%.

LOL, nobody called you out on the completely made-up black metal band Carcaroth.

A+

Does anyone here like "The Legion"? I stumbled upon them yesterday and thought they were pretty cool...
 You're playing tricks.
It's this game I have where, when I discuss BM, I throw mention of a non-existent band called 'Carcaroth' in somewhere and see if I can get away with it. I checked M-A and it's not a real band AFATK but it sure sounds like one. (Carcaroth being the mighty wolf of Morgoth with a patently obvious basis on the Fenrir of Norse mythology, who, instead of biting off Beren Camlost's hand, bites off the hand of Týr.)
"Our relationship with the natural world is a healing force in our lives.
rofl

Maybe except for the part about knowing about the phase of the moon (if it's for astrology, it's bull), I basically agree with that. "Being in touch with nature" sounds like something only hippies do, but that's not necessarily true. Anyone living before 1100 in Northern Europe (*cough* Vikings) knew nature well, and respected it. That's 1337.

rattlehead42147 01-29-2008 10:43 PM

I can understand "respecting nature"

But WITTR would go gay for nature

RiceMonster 01-29-2008 10:47 PM

I think WITTR are gay with nature actually.

A-ha, but nature is traditionally represented by a female figures in pagan religions ... Sif, Maia, nymphs, Cailleach, etc....

They're just gentlemen, that's all. Think about it.

They probably have splinter resistant condoms.

I mean, I get what you're saying but basically it all comes back to WITTR being extremely pretentious.

But I've gotta give it to ya for the sound logic, that completely slipped my mind :thumb:

Mother Nature is a milf

Word. Some of their rhetoric is probably staged though.

lol, I did not make that connection. And a relatively young one at that because weather and geological disturbances are PMS.

It always makes me laugh when I see that someone named "1338 h4x0r" has made a post relating to mythology, politics, or psuedo intellectuality.

I spent a good hour and a half discussing discrete math with my mates today; don't forget that.

I'm a trve Renaissance man.

Nostalgia 01-29-2008 11:28 PM

It was cute, WITTR had a really nice setup when they were playing; all Marshall stacks (that was theirs - the band before them wheeled their **** away), what appeared to be Sonor drums (couldn't hardly see) and beside their Marshall half was a little old, raggedy amp head. You know, to solidify their rugged and old equipment.

Silenius 01-29-2008 11:29 PM

I believe Nature is Mother Nature, so if anything WITTR are with a MILF right now, so this gay theory is pretty off guys.

dammit rattlehead beat me to it.... :(

I'm assuming you mean't Sonor drumset? That's a pretty nice drumkit then, doesn't scream rugged and haggard to me:confused:

Sykdom (Sickness) were reviewed recently; I had never heard of them before.

If you haven't heard them yet, they are, well, syke! I'm listening to the album Mjollnir atm. It's kind of polished but nonetheless pretty aggressive.

VomitStainedCretin 01-30-2008 05:34 AM

Judging by those prehistoric female fertility cult statues, Mother Nature has a huge arse and pendulous breasts.
