ive just figured
midi files are the best ever invention ever

fatbandit 05-02-2005 07:18 AM

No, you lie. I am the best invention ever.

On a different note, I have a Big Muff and don't like it. Anyone got another pedal to suggest I could buy?

supercalifragilistic 05-02-2005 07:20 AM

for distortion/overdrive I go with digitech

fulltone Bass Driver..:D

fatbandit 05-02-2005 07:41 AM

Hmm. Well I don't like the vague Fuzz the Muff gets. It doesn't want to sound different, no matter what settings I put it on. I want something with a little more clarity and definition (kind of a contradiction, seeing as I want distortion, eh?), and more gritty than fuzzy... I reckon I can get £40 for my Muff off someone, its in perfect condition and all, but I need a replacement for about the same price. If anyone has recordings of them with their distortion pedals, let me know! :)

lemoley 05-02-2005 08:42 AM

how is everyone this day of mon

DashRantic 05-02-2005 08:43 AM

I have the DigiTech driver, it's a bit too smooth-sounding for my tastes. I've tried the Boss OBD-3 and like the way it sounds, maybe ya should try that one.

fatbandit 05-02-2005 08:45 AM

Got any recordings of your Digitech? Could you make any if you don't already have some?

Considering 15 years is just about my whole life, it'd be a bit over the top for me have had a girlfriend for 15 years.

i nearly threw up when i saw that body shape? why would someone do that?!

fatbandit 05-02-2005 09:35 AM

What you still have left to do lemoley? Compositions? Performances? Have you done any of it yet? My school was inept, I ended up recording both of my pieces at home with my bad recording equipment instead of at school.

Thunder Fingers 05-02-2005 09:39 AM

I want the guitar i bought.. this take way to long time...:(

fatbandit 05-02-2005 09:40 AM

Eddie, you got recordings of your fulltone? :)

lemoley 05-02-2005 09:41 AM

Composition 1- got to do again (missing you on guitar)
Composition 2- not done (minimilist piece on bass)

Performance 1- done (Higher ground on bass)
Performance 2- done (californication on bass)
Performance 3 (ensemble)- done (you shook me all night long on bass)

and i have not wrote about any of them yet :(

fatbandit 05-02-2005 09:44 AM

Ah. One of your 3 performances has to be you playing one of your compositions, though?

lemoley 05-02-2005 09:46 AM

well we dont have to do that in total we have to play and record 5 pieces and write about each of them (appraisel and brief), i think it depends on which course you take

Thunder Fingers 05-02-2005 09:52 AM
Eddie, you got recordings of your fulltone? :)
