I'm going to be in a band! We're gonna have 4 bassists and call ourselves "Anal Injected Death Sentence" either that or Syndrome, we're undecided on that thus far, I'm pulling for sentence though.

We're considering getting someone to just play a bass drum to keep the all-bass theme going, or just having one person play percussive slap to keep time.

Yeah, it all depends, there's myself with a year or so of experience, a friend who's been playing 3 years, and two who don't even have instruments, so we're either making them both bassists or one a bassist and one a drummer.

Do you think you could help me out with Moonlight Sonata, you seem to be able to play it very well, and I am struggling with as too what hand I should use for the tapping parts.

has any of you metalheads seen the bassist (also the singer) from nile, his arm is the size of my leg, and hes playing a 6 string and he just moves frets from liek the 2 on the b to the 8 on the g without even moving his arm along the fretboard watch the video for execration text to see what i mean

My hands never cross over. Without going through each bit and showing you which hands I use, I can't explain it any better than that.

And yeah, that recording isn't great - I'll probably re-record it at some stage.
