twopelu 05-01-2005 06:37 PM

Hi people, tell me the news here...

(Its been a while...)

Radiobass81 05-01-2005 06:39 PM

Twopelu: If you ever want to sell your P for $340 including shipping, I'm here :).

twopelu 05-01-2005 06:40 PM

MX is crashing right now so Im off to bed, see you tomorrow casualers

sixxbassist90 05-01-2005 06:41 PM

how much is a jazz bass(in us $)

PaulSimonon 05-01-2005 06:42 PM

Radio, I might sell mine. Then you wouldn't have to pay a cent of shipping, if I decide to.

twopelu 05-01-2005 06:43 PM

hi Radio, whats up? still wondering about the P vs Steinberger thinga? I guess you are going for the P quite surely arent you?

I wanna keep my bass for a few months more, maybe till july. Then Ill buy the Steinberger (probably before but I dunno, when I get the money). Then I might sell the P, or not, it depens on how well it fits my band (the steinberguer).

Im thinking about a possible defret job too.

Sorry mate but right now the bass is not in sold.

Radiobass81 05-01-2005 06:43 PM

Paul: Why do you want to sell it?

Twopelu: Yeah, I'm leaning to a bass that is already good and need no upgrades. A bass that defines me.

Lame, I know, but...

twopelu 05-01-2005 06:44 PM

to Radio: I supose that goes to Simon...

Radiobass81 05-01-2005 06:45 PM

Yeah, had to edit :p.

PaulSimonon 05-01-2005 06:48 PM

It's not getting much use now, and after the new bass, it probably won't get any. I'm thinking about putting in a preamp and new pickups, so we'll see after that, but I doubt it will touch the T-40. Seriously, if you can, get a T-40. You could probably afford one with shipping off of Ebay. I think you'd love it, even more than a P, so I wouldn't really want you to waste your money on my P, when you could afford something I think you'd enjoy more.

hehe nice, then go on.

I wanna keep my P mainly because that way I will own two basses and I wont have to carry the ****ing hardcase to my jaming room. Its an hour far from my house and Im a skinny guy so it really annoys and tires me. If I had two basses I could keep one in the jaming room, and the other at home. Problem solved.

Probably its such an elitist reason but meh... the Steinberger is not that expensive so it wont hurt that much (I wont be able to afford an electric guitar or a keyboard but, what the hell, Im a bassist!).

Radiobass81 05-01-2005 06:49 PM

Paul: I don't want to make the same mistake twice. My next bass will be something I have actually played, which is why I'm not so keen on the Steinberger, yet still as curious.

Twopelu: That's what I do, but with amps. I keep my first amp (or used to) at my guitarist's home, since I never really needed to go at high volumes, and lugging my Roland around was tiresome (he's a neighbor, so I walked all the way).

the T-40 is such a lovely piece of wood... It used to be in my wishlist but, you know, there have been that many basses on that lists...

definitely a good point but, mate, I cant learn from my bass-buying-related mistakes... its sad. I wish I could!

PaulSimonon 05-01-2005 06:53 PM

I seriously cannot imagine a better passive 4 than my T-40. I haven't met one, at least.

Radiobass81 05-01-2005 06:53 PM

Then again, you didn't buy an SX :upset:.

twopelu 05-01-2005 06:54 PM

off to bed casualers... see you.

nice chat! ;)
