Woo 4 haz.
So it's official; I'm moving back home. |
So that snare was the last straw and there's now literally no room left in your apartment for you?
why are you moving back home?
Holy crap :(.

Mum bought a new house on saturday and offered the 2-car garage to me as a granny flat at a rent of $50 per week. It's got a bathroom/laundry in the back so it's too much of an oportunity to let go. I'm going to live there for a few years and attack my mortgage like a kabuto-samauri leading his men into battle on the slopes of Aya. Mum said it's never going to be a garage so I can convert it to a live-in studio with soundproofing and false-walls.
$50 a week? Son of a...
:)
$50/week + I pay electricity. Pretty fair I reckon. |
Of the whole house?
Either way, electricity is a quarterly bill isn't it? You're getting a bargain you cheeky fox. |
Yep yep. Mum said I can live for all-but rent free [the $50] if I'm moving home for the purpose of reducing debts and getting rid of mortgage. She said if I'm going to just spend all my pay and take advantage of her hospitality then I have to pay her $200 a week rent.
Might wanna build that recording studio on the sly then :p.
Haha. Most the money is in the construction, which I'll do myself.
Have fun with it.
The most serious goal in my life is to own my own house so I can do whatever I want with the thing. |
sick
bashing around with my motorbike on my sisters farm, hell yeah |
dammit, now I have two friends who own their own home. Not even 21 yet.
I don't know anyone my age who actually owns their home. It's pretty hard to own your own home at 22 unless you won the lottery or bought a bargain. I don't count paying a mortgage as owning a home though, once you've paid it off, then you own it, but yeah, close enough really.
I'd certainly much rather be paying mortgage than rent. Even though it'd be lots more per week. |

I have one, he's paying off a massive loan though also Naïve by KMFDM is so ****ing tight |
How much is an average mortgage per week?
probably like $500/week for a $300k loan, so you pretty much need two people working for that to happen
Bugger. I sure don't have $500 spare a week and there's not many homes around here for less than half a mil.
I'm paying 350 a week on a 220K loan.
Am doing it comfortably too. Homes for half a mil is too much. Especially if all you're looking for is the standard 3 bedroom 2 bathroom brick veneer dealio. |
There's a mix of old and new houses around here, but yeah, nothing cheap around these parts.
of course, the larger your deposit to begin with, the less the loan will cost
True enough. Not like I can afford much of anything though at the moment.
goin to see the who tomorrow woo
the woo
overture off tommy is so good |
I wish I was seeing them. Pino is a mad dog.
I don't think I like this Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. On a side note, those hairless cats are disgusting. |

Why, did he forget his password?
he wishes to invest his time more wisely
Haha.
Man people take this posting on a forum in a dull minute thing a bit too seriously sometimes. He's a good lad, he'll be okay. |
