haven't listened to The Assistant in uh five years or something. I wonder why? I had kind of forgotten about You and I's full length and The Assistant. both bands are so fucking good though. listening to The Assistant's first full length right now.

I like how they go from the blink-182-ish cutesy punk rock sound to downbeat progressive ambient rock to raw as fuck grindcore to epic piano screamo that's sort of like Ache:Emelie and so on. amazing band, tbh.

You and I's self-titled compilation album is up already. tomorrow their fantastic full length will be up. that is a great album as well.
