"we're going to be like this band and this other band combined. its not serious it will be pretty cool"

i am the robots 09-23-2007 08:24 PM

It's just a fun joke project, f u.

Btw Glaminator.

publicastration 09-23-2007 08:51 PM

Someone should start a band called The Cunts.

They'd be insulting themselves at every show, "we are cunts..."

Meh I'm bored.

Going to watch Weeds, later.
The projects keep dying because of lack of motivation, it's fun to play shows and record shit while we can though.
the first serious post ive seen from you in a long long time.

Gotta love that fucking swear filter

i am the robots 09-23-2007 10:02 PM

Nocturnal (the song) by The Black Dahlia Murder is so fucking badass.
Nocturnal (the song) by The Black Dahlia Murder is so fucking badass.
Is the album good?

i am the robots 09-23-2007 10:15 PM

I think so, and the title track is the best on it.

Shannon from All That Remains is an awesome drummer.

Trevor's vocals are better yet again.

The songs are less same-y than the old albums.
Gotta love that fucking swear filter
Why the bloody hell does it show up on my screen as unfiltered if it's filtering it?

masterchaos 09-23-2007 10:34 PM

Yeah the title track is real good. I think Warborn is my personal fav though

i am the robots 09-23-2007 10:58 PM

I dunno, I'm all about Nocturnal and Deathmask Divine.

Shred Danson 09-23-2007 11:24 PM

I still resent those bastards for specific reasons. Them and Celladoor and Dead Man in Reno. Theiving conniving fags.

masterchaos 09-23-2007 11:28 PM

Yeah they steal my riffs too man.

Shred Danson 09-23-2007 11:41 PM

Not talking about riffs

i am the robots 09-23-2007 11:42 PM

Trying to steal Core from WFOF. OMG.

Dead Man In Reno pwns you.

Shred Danson 09-23-2007 11:44 PM

If they did get Core on drums they would be a much better band.

i am the robots 09-23-2007 11:46 PM

I dunno, Core's good, but so is their drummer. Seriously, listen to Goodbye Tomorrow, Hello Dead Letters.

Shred Danson 09-23-2007 11:50 PM

On second thought, DMIR don't seem like a constant blast-beat type band :p

i am the robots 09-24-2007 12:05 AM

Yeah, they're more of a two-step and breakdown type band.

Shred Danson 09-24-2007 12:06 AM

Which is why I wish they would die.

i am the robots 09-24-2007 12:08 AM

Generic metalcore is a lot more fun than generic death metal tbh.

rattlehead42147 09-24-2007 05:00 AM

i love considered dead from gorguts, and so i was listening to the erosion of sanity to see if it would be as good, and i was reading the booklet that goes with it and deron miller from cky did the foreword or whatever. i knew he liked death metal but it was still weird. He and James Murphy are supposed to be releasing a Chuck Schuldiner tribute any time now, and Jeff Loomis has a guest solo on it :thumb:

and the erosion of sanity is excellent.

Shred Danson 09-24-2007 11:54 AM

I'm ****ing excited.

rattlehead42147 09-24-2007 12:15 PM

its been in the works since around 2004, i dont know what the ****'s taking so long.

Tyler 09-24-2007 12:16 PM

Jeff Loomis is too busy brushing his hair to actually work on it, I guess.

rattlehead42147 09-24-2007 12:22 PM

his solo has actually already been cut. i think he did it in 2005. and i know dino cazares is on the project as well and some other gay people but also some great players.

Tyler 09-24-2007 12:24 PM

I really hate Jeff Loomis, he'll probably ruin whatever song he's soloing on.

i am the robots 09-24-2007 12:27 PM

Tyler's outspoken opinionatedness ftw.

Tyler 09-24-2007 12:28 PM

I still want to here the half-finished album Chuck was working on before he bought the farm.

i am the robots 09-24-2007 12:29 PM

It's probably ballin.
