hey how come people post all these songs/poems but most of them blow almost as hard as all the criticism?

I'm too busy critiquing and writing poetry for uni atm. Break is coming up in June, probs crit a few peeps here but it gets so dispiriting because you end up, inevitable, critiqing the same way for every song, you could probably copy/paste crits and it still be legit.

I have copy/pasted before. It was on two threads in the same day, and then APS said something, so I never tried again.

I get so bored of critting the same stuff over and over. There was a time when I would crit everything on the front page, Now I just lurk most of the time, and only really post when a reg posts something, or to return a crit or if something really interesting crops up.

All of these things are pretty rare.

I'm doing a creative writing dissertation next year. Massive part of my degree, so I'll have to write some poetry and crap I guess.

I wish I had the patience to do things...like write a book...or a screenplay...or compose music...or stuff. I mean...I know none of it will ever get big or anything...but it'd still be nice to know I did it. lolol

motivation plays more of a role than patience for me.

Finished my portfolio thing. Now I've got to work on an exam for tomorrow (film studies - dull) and finish my creative writing exam. Its a week long take away exam, they gave it to us on tuesday morning, got to take it back next tuesday with one short story and 75 lines of poetry

When that's done, I'll get back to critting. I owe aps one and I dotted one of permanent solution's a while back. I will get to them, sorry about the wait.

Reading Ezra Pound's 'Cantos' atm. Pretty lively stuff.

Finished uni for the year now, just waiting for the results. I did my creative writing poem on this article ([url]http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2008/may/28/nepal[/url]) and sort of kind of ripped off [I]Choke[/I] for the prose bit. The poem was actually 3 poems, based on the article, about 80 lines long.

I'm going to do some critting now, since I'm far back on all of that stuff.

I have my last assignment due on Thursday then I'm free. Get back into the swing of thing on here and at least crit a few peeps
