Secondary Email worked, I think.

PaulSimonon 04-30-2005 10:20 AM

Well, it's a small file zipped into a .rar format, so it's not an .exe . And Gmail can send really big files. It should be going now, my insight account worked with it.

star wars sucks

mister_tee 04-30-2005 01:32 PM

Oh dear. It appears you're wrong. Better luck next time. :p

fatbandit 04-30-2005 01:34 PM

Okay, should I run bass > distortion > wah > amp?

Or bass > wah > distortion > amp?

rh15951 04-30-2005 01:37 PM

Toughie. I would split them and run them parallel. If not, depends if you wanna boost the signal before or after the wah with the distortion.

fatbandit 04-30-2005 01:42 PM

I don't know how to run them parallel... Its probably really obvious. Ah well. Basically, I have 2 pedals, an amp and 3 leads. This should suffice. At any rate, I want the wah to be noticable through the distortion, would this mean putting the wah after the distortion? So that the distorted signal is wah'd, instead of the wah'd signal being distorted?

bassi3 04-30-2005 01:43 PM
Okay, should I run bass > distortion > wah > amp?

Or bass > wah > distortion > amp?
I believe it was better to do wah before distortion, cause wah was working better on a clean signal... But you might try both ways, and see what you like best...

rh15951 04-30-2005 01:43 PM

Yes if you want that, put the distortion before the wah.

PaulSimonon 04-30-2005 01:45 PM
Okay, should I run bass > distortion > wah > amp?

Or bass > wah > distortion > amp?
Well, it depends on if you want to wah the distortion, or distort the wah.

PaulSimonon 04-30-2005 01:46 PM

Personally I would distort the wah, because wah-ing the distorted signal gets kinda weird, unless it's only a little bit of fuzz.

fatbandit 04-30-2005 01:49 PM

Ooh, wahing the distortion is sounding pretty funkay atm.

Left Shoe 04-30-2005 01:55 PM

whats new kids

fatbandit 04-30-2005 01:56 PM

Yup, that's the 'Cliffy' sound I was looking for... Might need to increase the volume of the distortion though, as the Wah is drowning out the distortion (opposite to what I thought would happen... :amaze: )

Not much. I've got a boring weekend. I left my basses at my dad's house so the only thing I have to play is a nylon stringed acoustic Hondo from the 70's.
