I've been having a terrible week

I've been threatened by 2 people
A girl is telling everyone I asked to see her boobs (which isn't true)
The girl I like, and I thought liked me, barely talks to me anymore
Exams are comming up
I've been having terrible migranes
I've been having cold showers because everyone uses all the hot water
I got locked out of my house the other day

And everything just sucks right now!

I just feel crap cause i keep getting into arguements.

Apparently the 23rd of Jan is the most depressing day of the year.

Which is totaly untrue for me, cause its my birthday.

I've been relatively happy compared to early December... Prozac and some ganja always keeps a brotha chill.

My week sucks too. School is a neverending slump, and everything is flying by me. At school, I'm drifting off more and more, and it sucks.

That happened to me last year, I was really bored and had to wait around until I could get in so I just started chopping up firewood with an axe. Good times.

After Fall Out Boy last night, my drummer rang me and asked if me and Dave (singer) were free on Friday. Someone has dropped out of the uni Battle of the Bands, and we have been drafted in to replace them.

So, on Friday, I will be playing to about 300-400 people, and now we have a new singer who is amazing as well.

If we don't get through to the semi-finals, I will lose faith in the ability of York students to like anything other than generic indie.

Wow, that's awesome James.

Amazing and awesome, yes. Terrifying, extremely. This is one of the main events of the campus year, and everyone will know about what goes on, even if they don't go. Add that to the fact that this is the first time we've ever played as a band with full PA and monitors to make it a bit trickier, and we've got a big task ahead of us.


On the plus side, last time we played live, it was at a party, and we had to keep quiet so as not to upset the neighbours.


This time it's a real gig though, so we can play LOUD. And trust me, we will.


Apparently, the entire 6-band gig will be played online as well, so I suggest you guys listen in. Anyone interested?

Sure. I'd like to see what kind of talent lies across the pond.
