Good Maiden songs = Trooper, Sign of the Cross, Caught Somewhere in Time, Paschendale, anything from the Seventh son album.

Lord Abortion 06-04-2005 09:04 AM

hallowed be thy name, still life, strange world, ghost of the navigator, anything from x-factor, where eagles dare, dream of mirrors

so many brilliant songs...

Maiden Fan9053 06-04-2005 12:29 PM

Have you guys seen the setlist for the 'Eddie rips up the world' tour?
I found this on a website, its from the Prague show:

murders in the rue morgue
another life
prowler
the trooper
remember tomorrow
run to the hills
charlotte the harlot
revelations
where eagles dare
die with your boots on
phantom of the opera
the number of the beast
hallowed be thy name
iron maiden
running free
drifter
sanctuary

pretty cool, eh? :thumb:

Yeah that's pretty cool. I didn't know if they still played "Charlotte the Harlot" just because it's rarely mentioned here, but it's a really fun song to play.

zinner zero 06-04-2005 02:36 PM

the song list its still amazin anyways, many of those songs are awesome live i would add fear of the dark, can i play with madnness and the evil that men do that are awesome live ooo and i would put iron maiden or run to the hills at the end of the song list, like in the rock in rio, it sounds amazing for a closing song

zinner zero 06-04-2005 07:53 PM

another awesome song live or on the album is 2 minutes to midnight

appreciate_it 06-04-2005 08:01 PM

im enchanted with Where eagles dare at the moment. It's amazing. The lyrics are brilliant. Im a singer and i want our band to do it, i just need to work on the last note in the song! dddddddaaa----REEEEEEEE!
Hey, that brings the question, does anybody know where bruce sings the highest note for iron maiden? (or highest song etc)

vashts80 06-04-2005 08:44 PM

Highest note, would probably be the NOTB scream, but I'm not sure.

Side note: Blaze's solo stuff owns. I love "Tearing Myself to Pieces", it's a great song

zinner zero 06-04-2005 11:51 PM

maybe the intro of be quick or be dead first track on the fear of the dark album

Wish we could find a singer for our band. I tell ya they are the hardest things to find. Hope u got a good drummer for where eagles dare.

Josh 06-05-2005 09:01 AM

well, this is the first time i've been on MX for a few days...

i got Bruce's solo album on Wednesday, its damn good - at the moment my favourite song from it is Navigate the Seas of the Sun.

----------

they played Wrathchild last time i saw them, its probably more of a crowd-pleaser than Charlotte the Harlot. anyway, you can't complain about the setlist as long as you get to see them this tour - 11 weeks 5 days! :)

GurS 06-05-2005 10:14 AM

GurS 06-05-2005 10:37 AM
