2muchket! 05-12-2010 04:00 PM

gaaaaaayyyyy

(never listened to DMIR)

publicastration 05-12-2010 04:06 PM

Goodbye Tomorrow, Hello Dead Letters has sufficient amounts of growling over clean guitars.

And lots of rim shots.

Smoochy 05-12-2010 04:27 PM

I'm a big fan of A Black Rose Burial.

Some pretty raw stuff. I've been waiting on a new release for quite some time. Doubt they'll ever release anything else.

heard 'em a few times on last.fm

liked a lot it, but the hardcore vox killed it

alytee123 05-12-2010 06:27 PM

Would be nice to hear some new Black Rose Burial at some point, I vaguely remember a whisper ages ago that they aren't playing together anymore, but could be me talking rubbish.

RetiredAt21 05-12-2010 07:32 PM

Dead Man in Reno are boring as hell.

I haven't heard they broke up, but then again, I haven't heard they're still together either.

I ****ing loved all their stuff though. It'd be a shame if they are done.

bloozclooz 05-12-2010 07:58 PM

they tried to hard to be different. results were mixed
Dead Man in Reno are boring as hell.
Needs more rehashed hardcore riffs played in drop d with shitty distortion.

2muchket! 05-12-2010 08:21 PM

cat fight

RetiredAt21 05-12-2010 08:32 PM
Needs more rehashed hardcore riffs played in drop d with poopty distortion.
2muchket! 05-12-2010 08:34 PM

RetiredAt21 05-12-2010 08:36 PM

lol idk what he's talking about.

Xplisit 05-13-2010 08:36 AM

hes saying everything you listen to consists of rehashed hardcore riffs played in drop d

with poopty distortion

now wheres my money that shi was HARD to figure out

witchxrapist 05-13-2010 10:22 AM
The **** is that supposed to mean?
Basically, you have no appreciation of actual musicianship, in fact you tend to scorn it, which I find completely annoying. I still love you tho. :)

2muchket! 05-13-2010 10:26 AM

Justin is a like an old racist, he's set in his ways, he knows what he likes and doesn't.

Which is an ironic analogy considering he's a xracextraitorx.

witchxrapist 05-13-2010 10:27 AM

But seriously, I was listening to DMIR's ST on my way home from Bethlehem last night, and Christ, some of those, "tech," parts are ****ing tasty, just how tight they are.

2muchket! 05-13-2010 10:32 AM

Not really that fussed on the 'tech' aspect of a band tbh.

May seem like a contradcition cos I love me some 'mathcore'/

witchxrapist 05-13-2010 10:40 AM

I'm focused on the overall sound of the band, but seriously, some of those DM parts that lead into breakdowns are just so freaking well done.

Xplisit 05-13-2010 02:59 PM

tech parts on a DMIR album?

what are we on here

There's some catchy riffs for sure.. and a neat tapping section on that one song. But srsly.

witchxrapist 05-13-2010 03:01 PM

Well if you payed attention to what's going on OTHER than the tapping at that part, you'd notice one of the parts I'm talking about.

Xplisit 05-13-2010 03:02 PM

fk it i dont pay attention enough to notice the tech

witchxrapist 05-13-2010 03:03 PM

The segment starting at 2:45 of She's Tugging On My Heart Strings... ****.

2:40 in The Devil Made Him Do It.

These parts add so much to the album.

Smoochy 05-13-2010 03:31 PM

The Boy Will Drown ****ing kill.

2muchket! 05-13-2010 03:34 PM

Never got into them tbh.

They're playing ghostfest, might give 'em a listen.

Psyched to be seeing what will prolly be Clone the Fragile's last performance.

witchxrapist 05-13-2010 03:54 PM
The Boy Will Drown ****ing kill.
They're so ****ing sick. Another band who's musicianship is just too superb to ignore.
